They don't even deserve one star. We waited for at least 2 hours and they screwed up our order. HORRIBLE!

12 on the Lake: The Pierside Grill The big let down, one star!

Right off the bat the place looks rather inviting. We (a 4 top) were greeted right away and it was friendly. My wife's parents were raving about the place. The menu looked good, seemed to be something for everyone. Our waiter was friendly no doubt. Everything seemed to be going well.

We place our order: Spinach dip with nacho chips and a couple of Margherita pizzas. we have our drinks and about 35 minutes goes by and we inquire about our food. The waiter, for those 35 minutes was no where to be found. My wife's mom goes in to find him and about 5 minutes later he arrives with two clearly under done pizzas and no appetizer, (He forgot to fire the app.). We wait 40 minutes for underdone, mediocre pizza. The toppings were sparse at best and in the middle of the pie only not spread out.

The place filled up fast and it was clear there was zero leadership. Staff arguing in front of customers, One lady needed to use the restroom and the "head waitress/hostess" actually had her step over this chain they kept putting up, for no apparent reason. Why she did not undo the chain is beyond me and why it was up in the first place remains a mystery. Our waiter never came back to check in on us and forgot our second round of drinks. He finally brought our appetizer which came with oil soaked stale "pita chips", not nacho chips as the menu stated. When we finished the chips there was still half of the dip left. The waiter came over and instead of asking us if we wanted more chips he took the liberty of removing the dip without even asking us if we were done!

I am clear there is a leadership issue at this restaurant both in the kitchen and in the front of the house! I do not see this place as something special as some folks make it out to be and unless something drastically changes there I do not see it surviving!
