So when I was thinking of what to write for this review, one word kept coming to the forefront of my thoughts--STICKY! Â Sure this place is huge. Â And, yes, they have a lot of TVs. Â And, to be honest, I don't really care how good the food might be, because when everything you touch is STICKY, it kind of grosses you out. Â Once you touch a sticky menu, and then a sticky table cloth, then everything just feels sticky, no matter if it's in your head or not--the glassware, the tableware, the plates...blah. Â As a result, I felt most comfortable ordering typically bar food staples--wings and fried pickles, which, I gotta admit, were both pretty impressive. Â The wings were infused with blue cheese, which is impressive to say the least. Â The pickles you could tell were hand-battered, and they came with an AMAZING, yet really spicy sauce. Â They also do have a rather nice beer selection from MI, although it was served in a, you guessed it, sticky glass. Â My fiance ordered black bean burger, which I'm pretty sure was the same thing as those frozen ones you buy at Costco--but it wasn't terrible.
If you have children, there are a few cool arcade games to keep them occupied. Â Also, this is extremely convenient for those staying at the Hampton, as they literally share the same parking lot. Â
One more negative--would it really kill them to trim the bushes and pull a few weeds?? Â This place has less curb-appeal than Waffle House.
I've been here 3 times. Â First two times were Ok. Â Last week, below average. Â This place is huge and there is not very many people there dining during dinner rush on a Friday evening which should tell you something. Â Like their burgers...fries and rings are not good. Â Rings look really good but not crispy. Â Potato skins and beef app's not recommended either.
