definitely come here if you like super divey bars! the bartender was super friendly and there's FREE POPCORN! I came here for Taco Tuesday and with every alcohol purchase, you get a free taco so that was awesome (if you don't like drinking, I think tacos were only $1 anyway).

My husband, Randy, introduced me to 90 West. Fell in love with the atmosphere at the get go. I love that they have beers on tap, a variety of bottled beers, as well as wine and liquor. Absolutely my spot to enjoy La Fin du Monde or Chimay with "the ball and chain" (hehe).

    PROS:
    -friendly owner and staff
    -pet friendly
    -variety of bottled beers
    -rice rum! jello shots!
    -free popcorn
    -"jukebox"
-pool table with regularly scheduled tournaments
-good spot to catch "the game"

    CONS:
    -somewhat limited/dated jukebox
-only one stall in ladies room

Have been here on various occasions with my husband and also introduced my sister to this little piece of heaven. Highly recommend!

Went to celebrate my friends birthday last week. Awesome place with friendly locals. The pool is great. Couldn't get enough playing. Had a great time! We will come back for another birthday party for sure.

You can walk in as a stranger but leave with a few new friends. The bartenders are "real". The local regulars are friendly. Its a GREAT low key place to watch all the football games but its still crazy enough of a place to ring in the New Year.

The only thing holding me back from giving them a 5 star rating is that they only serve beer and wine. Thats not totally thier fault. I know those licenses are SUPER expensive. Im patient enough to wait.

This isnt a glitz and glamour kind of place so leave your high heels in the closet, put on your favorite lazy day t-shirt and come have a beer.

I've been a regular at this bar for quite a while and well, it's a great little dive. I don't care much for the trendy bar scene, so this bar is right up my alley. If you like to have drinks and a chill time, this is a great place. It is your classic "cheers" bar (yes, everyone does know my name). They've got a great juke box so you can play some tunes, a brand spankin' new billiards table (a Diamond at that), and a pretty decent selection of beer and wine. While it is a beer and wine bar, the bartenders do get creative with making mixed drinks using Soju. If you're looking for the bells and whistles, this is probably not your scene, but if you just like to kick back and have some drinks with friends, come on down!

They changed their bar staff recently and it is a HUGE improvement.  They are polite and professional as opposed to angry drunks.     Also, they may be getting a liquor license soon!   This is shaping up to be a much better neighborhood bar.

So, I don't do 1 star reviews, pretty much, ever! However, given the experience that happened to us that night, it did not leave the best first impression.

Came for a friend's birthday who has been wanting to this small, quaint dive bar... only to start with a fun experience, juke box tunes, cheap beers, saki and wine only place, free popcorn and pretzels and pool table and only to end in anger and upset!

Everyone was having a terrifc time and then a older man made a derogatory remark about a Africian American friend of ours, to our luck it was handled well, my friend said his piece and walked away. But then it just got worse because others in our group found out what had happened and all hell broke loose! Standing up for what is right and making it a point to the older guy who made the remark that it was NOT OKAY! Sad to say all 12-15 of us walked out especially after not being back up by those who worked there. They treasured the business of the "regular" given his bigotry remark instead of telling him to leave.

I'm happy to say I will never return!

Great divey bar. Come as you are, and shoot some pool!

Came here towards the end of the night on a Saturday.  Not much going on, just a few guys playing pool.  It has a sort of divey feel, but well kept.  You don't feel like there's junk stuck to your shoe or bugs all over.

The bar is simple beer and wine.  We stuck to Pabst, but they had a couple of good tap beers.

The place was chill, and actually filled up a bit after 1am.  Good music, and good people.  I would say a little out of the way.  And without some creative drinks, this isn't gonna be the kind of place I hang out.  But if you get a pitcher and the one pool table that takes up most of the room, you're set for a good night!

My boyfriend and I came here on a random Tuesday and had a blast. The bartender Stanzi was super friendly and awesome and so was the local clientele. We've been looking for a local dive bar (besides Sports Harbor) and we were really excited with this discovery (I'd say it's a step up from your typical dive bar). They don't serve food every day (bbq on weekends for football apparently), but they give you menus and you can order delivery from anywhere in the vicinity. Check it out if you're in the hood!

Great place to hang out on the patio...have a cold beer...and enjoy the local scene. They have a pool table that is not hardly used at lunch. Free popcorn to munch on. And good beer on tap and in bottles. No liquor but the do have wine.

Been here once, sign said coldest beer in town. They lied. Only one good beer on tap. Probably a decent place to watch a FB game and drink Bud, but pretty much a dive.

From the outside you're thinking, "This is going to be shady place". But once you go inside, you are warmly welcomed by the bartender and patrons.  Everyone is a local.  Basic dive bar: Bar, bartender, a projector tv', a few tables and stools, and beer.  What more could you ask for?

Nice local spot with mostly regulars.  Beer and wine only.  People are pretty cool and friendly here, especially the bartenders.  $3 PBR pints, $2 before 6pm.  Unbeatable.  Pool table and jukebox, plus free popcorn.  In terms of liveliness, it's hit or miss, even on the weekends.  Chill spot if you want to relax and watch some games.   They have pool tourneys some times.

Oh how I miss working at this little dive bar. It may not look like much from the outside, but once you get hooked it's hard to leave. The customers are like family and everyone is always welcoming. Delicious beers on tap and in bottles. The jukebox is loud, but there's tons of good music. The pool table has "character" but you can always get a pool tournament going. Great bar, great staff and I miss it so much!

It is a small bar for the locals or LMU students.  It is a small place, but big enough for a pool table, couple of tables, and a couple flat screen TVs.  Usually when I'm in the area it is never that crowed.  Though, I can see it being fuller when a good game is playing.  I've been inside once and they have your basic selection of beers on tap and a choice of wines.  I was a little surprised that they didn't have any hard alcohol for mixed drinks.

I went on a Wednesday and around 9 they brought out a beer pong table.  I totally got hustled by a mom with college aged kids in the game but it was a good time.  They don't use your regular red cups for the game which may be why my game was so off (haha I know that sounded petty but I'm still sad that I lost.  Don't worry I'm not holding my loss against them)

After hanging out and finishing our beers, my friend and I got hungry and there was no menu for greasy friend food.  I was super hoping for a little anything to munch on for the night.

Overall only three starts because there was nothing super memorable...besides my sad beer pong game, no food, and no fun mixed drinks.   I'll be back because it is close enough for my friends and me to walk there.  I'll just be sure to hide a small snack in my purse.

I'm thinking about this place because I wonder if they'll have the fight this weekend.  And because it's a wine bar, which sounds good.  A sports wine bar, you could say. I can get a decent, not raunchy glass of red while I watch the game with my peeps.   Bartender is real nice too, ready to make a wine recommendation.  Which means it's my kind of place.  Shoot, why didn't I think of that??

The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because it is kind of too small.  There's only a few tables other than the bar because there is a pool table.  I wish they could make it a bit more comfortable.

There's decent food in the same strip mall too!

This is definitely a dive bar... But that's ok. The beauty of some dive bars is the fact that they rarely try to be more than they are. A rare and valuable thing...

Basic niceties... Beer and wine. That's it... Pool table: check. Jukebox playing mostly rock and roll: check.

The pool table is a little old but 75 cents a game.

I like 90 West but cannot really give a dive bar, especially one that does not serve hard liquor a 4 star rating. Not to mention the lack of food.... however, the atmosphere and bartenders have all been very cool. So 3 for now....

It's where the locals come to hang out.  Very much a neighborhood dive bar.  Randomly ended up here, usually hang out in downtown Culver City...

I was a bit caught off guard by how friendly everyone was...I had just stepped in and I was already having a conversation with people sitting at the bar and with the bartenders.  They started telling me about the best place to get food near by and before I knew it, I had a menu for Ronnie's in my hand (the food there is pretty good).  Turns out Ronnie's (which is right next door) will deliver food to this bar if you stop by and order or even if you just call and order.

After the Lakers game, there was a lot of shuffling about and ta-da!  A beer pong table appeared and people began to play drinking games...all were welcomed.  I even ended up with a free slice of pizza from a group that had ordered in and was celebrating a birthday.

    All around a good time.

A make-shift dive bar that really isn't even a dive bar.  The location is nice if you live nearby and are too lazy to get your own alcohol from the nearby Beverage Warehouse.  Everything is just okay - service and drinks.  The space feels like an unkempt rec room.

The 90 is never a bad time. I love the small town dive bar vibe! It reminds me of home. Plus the bartenders are amazing, especially the redhead! ;-)

They have a juke box, pool table and beer pong! Wednesday is beer pong night, but you can play anytime if you just ask the bartender to bring out the table.

90 West, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways...

    1. free PARKING
    2.  JUKEBOX
    3. crappy POOL TABLE
    4. the bartender is the sweetest MILF you'll ever meet
    5. tiny Patio, the ultimate luxury for any local beer bar
    6. CASUAL. You're unlikely to find Abercrombie models here.
    7. FRIENDLY. There's a fine line between friendly and obnoxious.
    8. CHILL- a place to go to unwind over a couple beers
                      -doesn't get any better

The place is Tiny--but they microwave up free popcorn for you.

There is only one pool table--but it's a mere 75c.

The jukebox is way too loud--but the bartendress plays Journey and AC/DC.

It is beer/wine only--but they have canned Boddingtons.

There are only three beers on tap--but one of them is Blue Moon.

There is a patio area where you can bring your drink--but it's small so you get a lot of smoke in  your face/hair/clothes.

I...I'm of two, equally-matched minds about this place. I can't tell if I would go back. I don't know what kind of mood I'd have to be in to go back, but at the same time I -- I don't know. I think that means three stars.

Ask Stanley K whether he prefers to drink at a fancy bar or a nice local dive bar and he'll say, the local bar by a long shot. I'm not talking about downtown Culver City type bars because you will not see me in one of those unless I'm looking entertain a few business clients or for some special occasion . I'm likely to censor myself which is absolutely uncomfortable with me. You know me, I party like a rock star baby!

Well...with that said, I told my friend Shaun O, let's go to a dive bar, do you know any? We finally decided to come here, a bar he had previously patronize. I came here and was WOW'ed by the ambiance, the hot bartender, and the amount of people or lack thereof. We were greeted and served by the lovely bartender ( dress in a Dirndl) with uggs ( which I thought didn't pair well). But, who cares? She was HOT and very sweet. Imagine us, probably one of most diverse group of friends to come to a bar where everyone was looking at us when we walked in. Sure, we didn't look like the metal heads in the corner or the locals or hot lesbians, but we were here to have a drink and watch ESPN.

Anyhow, somehow we manage to have a good time, play beer pong ( yes, they had an actual beer pong table) , watch locals play pin the thong on the centerfold, and people were playing pool as well.

Apparently it was an October fest event going on, luckily we were one of the few people there to enjoy it. Somehow I managed to win a novelty condom with a dolphin head on the tip, Shaun won the 007 lube, William won the balloon with nipple tips, and Shannon with the thong undies. It was definitely an amazing good effenin' time.

Thank you 90 West Lounge, you saved me from boredom, not I don't enjoy LA, but after spending a total of 5 hours on the road, one might ask for several drinks to mellow out. =)

    That is all!

Clique-y bar.  Young bartender is more concerned with chatting to patrons than serving drinks.  Cockfest.  Nice TVs.  No food.  Odd set-up.  There are better dives in the area.

It's a great cozy bar with cheap draft beers and some of that Soju stuff. They also have a comedy show there every other Friday and the comedians are actually funny.

We went here to start off a wild Tuesday night (See the Carbon review).

This is the first place that I found where you can do Soju shots (Korean hard alcohol). It was fun to do 3 rounds and have the gorgeous bartender call you out for not drinking enough.

The only strike was that it was pretty dead on a Tuesday night, but I am sure it probably is a fun place to play pool on a more active night.

Much upgraded since the old days, a casual dive to catch up with old friends and grab a cheap and tasty cervesa.

Really? No one has reviewed this place since 2007? Ok...

BTC got all glammed up for our HORORARY member Ms. Sheila E's bday last Friday and headed out to the 90 West.
Its a good size bar, Sheila had a dj spinning the best memory inducing music from my youth. LOL- I act like I'm old huh?
Granted I walked in loaded with my new fav organic vodka - RAIN! but I actually like this place. I really do.
Beers are priced just like every other bar, $4 I believe (on tap). We danced the night away, drank the night away, freaked the night away and kissed and hugged the night away.
There is even a patio with chairs that you can chill out and have a smoke and even bring your drink. Careful though cuz the time to bring drinks out stops before the bar closes. I want to say 1am? I dunno, don't own a watch.
Bartenders are fast and very friendly as with the door guys as well.
Bathrooms are clean and don't smell like urine or vomit so that was very nice.

For a down home neighorhood bar, this is good.  Sports on the TV's for guys.  Good jukebox for music for whoever wants to have it play.  Wine and beer only, and a pool table for the bored.  Cool people, laid back (even if that means the bartenders are in the back room changing out kegs for a few minutes), and not overly noisy.  Outdoor option for smokers who leave their drink inside the bar.

Ok.  I have a shitty tv.  But I love football. I also am a diehard Raider fan, but they suck, and don't get on tv alot, unless you have some fancy cable package.  There is no way I'm paying for cable or a new tv to watch something 16 times a year.

    BUT

There is 90 West, which has great tv's.  So what do I do?  I grill up a burger or some carne asada, wrap it in some tinfoil, and head down to 90 West.  They got Fat Tire on tap, nachos and other eats for free (but I got somethin' beter see above) and a comfy seat.

I don't come here much on the weeknights, but for sundays, it cant be beat.

I went to 90 West when it was "The Throwback", local bar turned dope DJ bar.  This is a great place to hear great underground hip hop.  Even the older locals stuck around the whole night.  This is a great place to have drinks, chill, and listen to great DJs.

It sucks that they close at 12AM, but if you show up at 8PM or 9PM you'll end up having a great time without feeling like your running out of time.

No matter where you live, this place feels like the bar right around the corner from your crib. It's the type of place where you strike up conversations with the random folks next to you and realize that you have old friends in common. The owner is mad cool and nice.

I'm the type of girl who enjoys a local bar where you can sit and just talk with friends.  Back when I lived in WeHo, the Formosa Cafe and  Jones' (during the weekdays) provided these safe harbors for me.  90 West, which recently opened after being closed for months, is now my new local bar.  The entire interior has been redecorated, giving an updated, trendy look to this random bar situated within a strip mall.  There is a pool table, a jukebox, and small tables to sit and catch up with pals.  The eclectic group that decorates the bar is why I love dive bars.  You have the off-duty cops on one side of the room, the twenty-somethings playing pool and the local man who sits at the end of the bar, telling you stories about how L.A. used to be back in the 50's.

90 West has good beers on tap, decent prices, and a laid back atmosphere.  I am just thrilled to have a place within walking distance where I can relax and hear crazy stories from strangers at the bar.

Was known as the "Bus Stop" is now called "90 West" .

A little dive that is happening since the new ownership took over.   Lots of Venice (High) locals make their way over here.   If you're within crawling distance of the 90 Frwy & Culver Blvd........definitely stop by for a drink.
