A surprisingly good place. Â Not a diverse menu in the slightest, but they do the standard things well. Their biryani is Hyderabadi style (the whole place is really), and it's good. Cinnamon and black cardamom are strong, but it's still good, though not enough meat in my opinion. Good boti chicken, even if they do pour on the red food coloring. The nehari is good too; it's not quite as tender as Sabri, but it's still enjoyable. I like that they offer chapatis instead of oil soaked parathas. The service was like almost all the other places on Devon: abominable but not malicious. Many Devon desi places just have different service norms.
I saw a tiny roach on the wall on my way out. That didn't make me smile, but it wasn't in my food so it's not the end of the world. I've definitely eaten in much less hygienic places in India and Africa before; so I'll survive.
