Alberto's Italian Restaurant & Lounge

I love this place. Its a little mom and pop kind of place with the best clam chowder. Yum.

Okay, I am a local and have been going to this restaurant for several years now.  I have met the owners, a couple who are super friendly (just like their staff) who are there ALWAYS and even do the cooking from scratch!  Im not sure if these other reviewers have actually eaten there - they close at 730pm so I dont know how these reviewers actually were able to get in.  The restaurant is closed on Sundays so of course you dont see any car there except maybe for the bar that is open 24 hrs.  This place is always packed with people - its like a Cheers episode that when you go in everyone really knows your name!  My son loves the burgers and I love the Mexican food.  My hubby cant live without the broasted Chicken!  I believe these reviewers are sour competitions - thats just too bad that they have to go this way. The owners are an honest couple who are trying to run a small business to please everyone's appetite - why break them down when nothing others have said is true.  Before you crossout Albertos, go in, enjoy the food and service, you wont be disappointed at all!

Like the other reviewer said we were the only two in there also! That should have made us run like hell right there. Of course the service was good--we were the ONLY ones there.

I thought the food was pretty gross. My husband thought it was okay but its one of those places that you won't go back to and wished someone had warned you about. Stay away!
