Not fine dining but the food was decent. I think this place is getting a little run down.

went here for happy hour for a friends birthday because I heard they had good prices and drinks. $3 Long Islands how can you beat that.? Easy by buying a $1.25 drink from the vending machine. They said this was there strongest drink and a person with us who doesn't drink said it tasted like juice. I suggest to not go this is my first and last time. I was never a fan of the food.

ive been handful of times with family and girlfriend and every time we have service is slow and 2 times we walked out after waiting for more then 15+ minutes i don't come to you im there you serve me if you want my money don't look at me and walk by even when somebody asked if we've been served then never come back really?  then one time we went there my chicken had a soap taste to it and my girlfriends meatballs were frozen solid so we told them and they said we could order again but we decided to leave and go somewhere else. the one in woodbridge is really good go to that one.

I got an email from applesbees advertising there new selections which included chicken fettuccine carbonara and I love carbonara. I also had a $15 gift card so I decided to try applebees curbside to go. I arrived about 5 minutes before the requested pickup time. After 2 or 3 minutes sitting there an employee came out and told me the food wasn't ready yet and have me the bill. About 5 minutes later my food came out, which was within reasonable margin of my requested pickup time. The carbonara was good pretty good but the noodles were a little off. The sauce was light and there was sufficient chicken and other toppings. This isn't your tradition carbonara that you will get at an authentic Italian restaurant because there were tomatoes and mushrooms and the sauce didn't include egg.  The meal also came with a breadstick but I didn't eat that.  If I was eating at applebees I'd order it again but won't be making any special trips just for this meal. I can't comment on the inside service or cleanliness of the restaurant since I didn't go inside.  Curbside service was good and convenient.  Overall price of $12.50 including tax was decent for what I got.

I ordered Curbside to Go last night for the first time and was impressed.  I called it in and the waitress taking the order was nice.  My order was ready within the 15 minute time frame they gave me and was out at my car quickly.  The food was great and hot when I got it home.  Haven't been inside this one in a while simply cause I have never been much of an Applebee's fan, but after last night's experience I will give them a try again.

I went here for dinner with my family one Saturday evening. The place was not anywhere near capacity I would say less than 50% full. We were seated quickly however that was the only thing that was fast. Our server took about 10 minutes to get to us. We decided to order everything together since we didn't know when our server would return.  Our appetizer arrived about 20 minutes after we ordered it and the main course arrived a minute or so after. The appetizer was spinach dip with chips I can't imagine it takes that long for that particular dish to be made. So of course we didn't want our food to get cold so we has to hurry up with our appetizer and get to the main course. The food was average, the service was horrible. The manager was more concerned with promoting a barbershop as he handed out business cards for the barber shop. As he stopped by our table he intelligently didn't ask how the service was because he would have gotten an earful. We were running late for a movie so we rushed out of there. I do not know if I will return to that restaurant ever again

When I moved to Manassas I obviously started checking out the local watering holes.  My father and I stopped in this place to have a drink and grab an app.  I got a tall beer pops got a crown and coke.  We ordered the chicken quesadilla to nibble on while we had a drink.  When they arrived at the table the first bite was full of grissle.  Dads first bite, full of grissle.  We thought, "Well, that was that, the rest of them are probably fine." and we continued to eat, MORE GRISSLE!  Opened them up and took a peek, 80% grissle filled, what the heck!  My Dad commented, "It's almost like they did it on purpose, you have to search for grissle on a chicken."  Told the waitress and she took it away and apologised to us and took it off the bill.  After that nastyness we both agreed we didn't even want to drink there so we went across the street to Glory Days.  Everything was great at Glory Days.  I've been living here for about 2 1/2 years now and I've never been back to Applebee's.  I had never been to an Applebee's before that day.  See how important first impressions are.  I've been back to Glory Days plenty of times.

To counter what Alexandra had to say about the cleanliness of the restaurant.  I've eaten here numerous times and have never had a problem with how clean it is.  It's always clean when I'm there so I'm not sure what she is talking about.  Regarding the food.  I usually get the hot wings and when made right they are some of the better wings around Manassas.  The service is usually good so no complaints there.  It's a typical chain restaurant but not as bad as Alexandra says it is.

I'm no stranger to large chains such as this or TGI's or Chili's etc... what surprised me was how much I hated this establishment. My husband and I decided to go with our two kids after seeing the tv ad for two meals plus appetizer for $20. We figured hey? why not? in this slumping economy, we haven't had a decent family night out, so let's go! Upon entering the restuarant though, we were immediately racked with second thoughts. It appeared dirty. I don't know how or why, it just did. We were seated in a booth and I was just afraid to touch anything!!!! It just felt and looked like the place hadn't been cleaned in months!
Anyways, first impressions aside (still gunning for the deal), we opt to go with the mozzarella sticks appetizer and my husband had pasta and I had the fiesta lime chicken. Ok here is where the nightmare continued. The mozzarella sticks were more breaded than cheese; the pasta portion was tiny and my fiesta chicken was taking a siesta. Literally. The thing had noooo taste what so ever. I was disappointed thoroughly so we asked for our check and left quickly after eating (hey waste not, what not). We don't intend to go back there again or to another Apple Bee's chain for that fact. We are sticking with TGI's!
