I went last night with my girlfriend. I rate them 4 stars for a few reasons.
PRO'S:
- The food was excellent. My chicken parm, rice and spinach tasted like it was prepared for a king. Best I've had in a while. My gf's dinner was larger than she expected and the bacon, tomato and cheeseburger, was well above expectations. Her fries were crispy and yummy! ( I stole a few ;)
- The service was fast and friendly. They were attentive, but not overbearing. And when our order was screwed up (mentioned in the cons), the chef, who looked like a young Ashton Kutcher, Â came out and was friendly and made sure everything was to my liking.
- The taco's were very tasty and I didn't get charged extra for the extra cheese, cream cheese and applesauce for the chicken.
- The Coors light I ordered, was very fresh, well priced and in an over-sized glass, which was a nice surprise.
CON'S:
- The mango tea was VERY bland. I didn't complain about it, but felt I should have said something.
- The chicken parm was quite good, but  it would have been nice to have some steak sauce on the table. Salt, sugar, ketchup and pepper was the only options set out on every table. Considering how many different steaks they have on the menu, you'd think they'd have some steak sauce available on each table.
- With the nacho's, I specifically asked for no jalapenos. Yet when the dish came, it had at least 10 jalapenos in sight. I had to get it sent back and made right.
- They pushed for us sitting in the lounge / bar section, but we opted for a booth in the quieter sections. I understand they were low on seats, but I was going with my gf, not a buddy of mine, watching the game on the flat screens. However, they seemed ok with our opting for a quieter area.
- Not too much of a gripe, but more of a suggestion.... having dividers in between each table side would be a big plus. I don't want to hear everyone else conversation, just my gf's. (and sometimes not even hers - just kidding honey)!
Overall, I would go there again, but it wouldn't be my first choice.
My friend and I came to this Applebee's on 01/26/ mainly because the other restaurants near by were so full and the wait was very long, too long for us since we were somewhat in a rush.
We ordered the 2 for $20: Mozzarella Sticks as an appetizer. I had the Grilled chicken and Shrimp and he had the Chicken and 2 cheese pasta.
There were a total of 9 Mozz Sticks - Amazing deal and it's always loaded with cheese - as long as it's not over done. My dish was terrific. It came out in a hot grill, still sizzling. The dish has good flavor and nice appealing look. The three cheese pasta looked really good too. The chicken pieces were nice and tender for chicken breast.
We didn't stay for dessert but she did bring out my water with lime (which was fresh) but she forgot the lemon.. no big deal. He had the raspberry iced tea. Took her awhile to refill the drink but she was altogether very friendly and was quick on her feet considering how many tables she has going.
Been here several times, always get seated pretty fast even on busy nights, the waitresses are nice for the most part, we also received our food right away, the prices on the food are decent its affordable even on the tightest budget, also there is a wide range of meals so there's something for everyone, the food however is average, its not that i didn't enjoy it, just nothing stood out as spectacular, it was a relatively enjoyable experience, its a good place for a guys night out or other social events
Bottom line: average food at a fair price with a good experience
Applebees sucks, I cant say anything else about the place... I havent been in 10 years because I hated them & then one night we decided to give them a try & the place was EMPTY despite it  being a Bruins Playoff night game...
The waitress was fine, the food just sucked  & now I know why I havent been in 10 years!
I go here for beers after work sometimes. It's a more relaxing place to unwind than Hooters. It's kind of dim and mostly quiet. Sometimes the regulars get a little loud at the bar. Appetizers are half price late at night, on weeknights at least. I don't know what time they start being half price, I have only been there after 11:00. The staff is friendly and they don't disappear leaving you hanging between drinks. Never eaten a meal there, probably never will, but good for beers at the bar.
Review Source:Awesome. Â Hostess was amazing, and the wait staff was helpful, especially with kiddo's allergies. Â The celebration of kiddo's birthday there was so much fun.
The food was well prepared, though like many chain restaurants, they have a hard time cooking steak any rarer than medium. Â Still, it was a good time. Â I've only been to this particular Applebees twice, and both times have been good.
And, in general - I like that Applebees has the dessert shooters, so you can actually have a small dessert!
I love this place and a lot of people I know love this place too. Â It has great food at great prices. Â I love their 2 for 20 deals. Â I will usually get something like the mozarella sticks, ribs, and a pasta/chicken dish with this deal. Â It is one of the best bar and grills around.
Review Source:Came on a Wed with family. Out of all the chains, I rank Applebee's at the bottom of the list cause their baby back ribs I had two years ago was disgusting. The menu has gotten somewhat better since my last visit to Applebee's.
As for tonite:
Service is okay.
Quesadilla burger was yummy. So were the crispy fries.
They ran out of Sam Adams Cherry Wheat =( but made up with Winter Ale =D.
