Bacci Pizzeria

I've explored the menu and the only thing that is decent is the pizza slices.  The burgers are disgusting.  The fries used to be bad but it improved.  I would stick with the jumbo slices and you won't be disappointed.

It used to be for the community, I can always count on them when I need help, like if I locked myself out, need to make a call or need to borrow a couple of bucks from the employees. But a couple of months ago, employees changed in the restaurant, food changed also. I locked myself out on a freezing rainy day before going to work. I waived and knocked on the door several times. They saw me, waived hands first to show that they are not open, I tried to tell them I'm here not for food, but for a little help, surprisingly they buried their head totally ignored me from then on, during which time I continued knocking the door so hard and loud for 10 minutes and was so surprised at how calm they maintained themselves. A normal person would already know something was wrong and at least came check it out. The only thing that can make them come to the door is if I started to burn this place down. This lack of sense of responsibility is bad for both the community and the restaurant. But who is responsible after all? Most likely the owner.

I'm terribly concerned that I've never seen the cheese from Bacci Pizzeria actually melt.  The first time I had it, I took it to go and tried heating it in the oven for a good 30 minutes or so (and I live a block away so shouldn't have had to heat it at all), but the CHEESE NEVER MELTED!  The pizza always looks like you just took it out of the refrigerator- even when they set down fresh pizzas straight out of the oven!

It's also $5 for a sub-par slice of pizza.  I've eaten it here and there, but only grudgingly and out of total desperation b/c they're open late and on weekends.  HOWEVER, if there's ANYTHING else around that you wouldn't mind eating, I'd suggest you go for that instead.
