Barley Creek Brewing Company

Came here a few weeks ago for a car show. The actual property and location are beautiful.

I had a few Cherry Kolsh Lagers. They tasted pretty good, but there was no head, the glasses were spotty and the bartender was overwhelmed and cranky.

We grabbed a table after waiting around 30 minutes at the bar.

My friends ordered burgers and they looked good. Everyone seemed to to enjoy their food. The waitstaff was friendly, but amatuerish.

The bathrooms were filthy as was the floor of the dining room.

Overall this place is realy only good for the scenery in the daytime, the beer- which is not bad but also not the greatest, and the pub fare.

I would say it's not safe to order anything more than a cheeseburger and fries here.

And the staff always seems  disorganized, overwhelmed an unprepared to deal with the large swaths of customers on the weekend.

Prices are fair, but still quite high for the product being served and the location.

This place is definitely catering to the income levels of the weekend NYer's.

Awesome beer. Fantastic food. Split an order of the nachos and had very little room left for the BBQ Sammie. Huge portions. Attentive staff. Love going here.

My fiance and I stopped in for lunch on our way back to Manhattan after a weekend in the Finger Lakes. Overall, terrible food, mediocre beer, friendly service.

The place was decorated to the nines with Halloween decor. A little cheesy, but it made for a fun, relaxing, family-friendly atmosphere.

We waited a bit longer than anticipated for someone to greet us at our table. Gina was our server. She was dressed in a police costume and was energetic and friendly. We opted for the 4 beer sampler, and she was knowledgeable about the different beers.
We tried our best to select a variety of beers, ranging from very light to moderately dark and hoppy. Unfortunately, none of the beers were very good. They were warm, had no head on top, and tasted as if they were poured from a dirty tap.

When it was time to order lunch, I chose the Shepherd's Pie. My fiance ordered the hot wings, but Gina quickly informed us that they were all sold out of wings. Instead, he asked for the chicken quesadilla. The Shepherd's Pie was served in a hearty portion, but was definitely subpar and flavorless. The quesadilla (which on the menu was described as being filled with sautéed peppers, onions, and cheese) was chock-full of RAW onions and tomatoes. Every bite was like biting into a raw onion and the taste was completely overwhelming!

All in all, Barley Creek Brewery has great servers and a fun atmosphere, but I don't think it's the place to go for exceptionally good cuisine, or beer for that matter.
