Eaten lunch at Barraco's. Service is always very good but the lunch menu is overpriced and limited. Pizza is your best bet here.

I absolutely love this place. Gourmet pizza that you can eat at like midnight. HELL YEAH!

They didn't have a margarita pizza but offered to make one anyways and that tasted sooooo good! It was funny though because it sort of tasted like bruschetta. Anyways, we got like 3 large pizzas. The other two I don't even remember the names of them but they were steaming hot, gooey, and GREAT!

I really really like this place a lot and the fact that they open late.

I do agree that the specials they have are very misleading and that the pizza's are VERY pricey. I thought it was worth it though at that time.

    OVERPRICED PIZZA...
    WORST MINESTRONE EVER!!
We were actually gonna try OLD TOWN PIZZA but it's carry out only, so we drove around a little bit & thought we'd try Barraco's again, as we hadn't been here in a long long time..
Well,  from the moment we entered, the place reeked of bleach water!! EEWW
I said something to the blond bimbo at the door.,, she says, "Yeah, people complain about it all the time,".. really?? And you continue to do it??!
no wonder we were one of only 2 tables in here.

We sat down and Jeremy was our server.. nice kid, but not well trained.
We wanted a large, 1/2 veggie, 1/2 Around the World pizza. He starts to tell us, he has to check with management, to make sure we can have 2 different styles on one pizza.. HUH?!  ok.. we can(DUH)
We then ask what kinds of soup do they have??
    We each order minestrone...
it tasted like vinegar.   No pasta noodles at all.. I complain to Jeremy, who didn't send a manager, but took my soup away( my husband tried to tolerate his).. he comes back & says the cook is making another batch, and he can bring out a cup as soon as it is ready.
The 2nd one was sooo bland & tasteless... no spices and again, no noodles.
I tell him to take it off the bill.
My side of the pizza is supposed to have fresh tomatoes... I was expecting SLICED tomatoes, not microscopic pieces..
The bill comes and they double charged for 2 ingredients: the entire pizza had mushrooms on it, so why are we being charged for 2- halves??
Jeremy brings the bill, and AFTER MY HUBAND PAYS THE BILL, then blondie comes over and asks how everything was.  My husband told her about the smell again, about the soup, and then she says, she would adjust the bill... too late, you moron!!
$32.00 for a pizza with tiny tiny ingredients....

AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD: DUST OFF THE TOPS OF THE STALLS IN THE BATHROOMS, AND ACROSS THE MIRROR TOPS!! and the toilet paper holder...

    WE WON'T BE BACK...

I am a huge fan of the food here.  As take-out/delivery that is.  I have eaten in the restaurant once and that was enough for me.  The poor lighting and spotty service was enough to drive you mad.  I had to pull out my phone to be able to read the menu, it was that dark in there.  Kind of ridiculous.  The service was bad too, the waitress was inattentive and forgot more than a few things.  And that is why I can't give the place the full 5 stars.

On to the good stuff.  The pizza is really really good.  One of the best as far as the chains go (I know its a small chain, but its still a chain to me).  But what really set them apart from the run of the mill pizza place is the meals they offer.  There are too many options on the menu to list but some of the more notable ones are the Chicken Francais, Stuffed Chicken and Red Pepper Pesto (personal favorite) and the baked mostaccioli is wicked good.  It's solid honest to good Italian food that is delivered.  If you have only had the pizza you need to order an entree.  One of my favorites and if I move I will have to make sure that I am still in the delivery radius of a Barraco's.

I really enjoy their deep dish pizza. The small is 10 dollars and it has a pan pizza crust and tons of cheesiness. I had tirmisu once and it was very heavy and rich accordingly. The people at the front look pretty busy.

Went here for a party.  Cheese pizza tastes like cardboard and cheap cheese. Pepperoni pizza tastes like cardboard, cheap cheese and grease meat and the sausage pizza nearly made me poop my pants by the time I got home. I had to stop at a McDonald's to use the bathroom. Service was horrible. Waitress charges is for kids 3 and under which, they shouldn't have.  Will never go here again.  This was our second time going here. First time service was also bad and the pasta was terrible.

This was our first time ordering from Barraco's; we'd heard good things. Well, they lied.

I called to place my order, and was put on hold not once, not twice, but SIX times. Seriously, six times? The girl on the phone was completely clueless. I asked multiple questions that should have been pretty easy to answer, like, does the bruschetta come with cheese? Um, I don't know, let me ask. Can I use a coupon that I found online without printing it out? Um, not sure, I'll check. We were also put on hold a few times simply because the phone was ringing. Apparently, she was the only one trained to pick up the phone and say, "Please hold." Ugh.

As painful as it was, we finally got through that looong phone call and waited for our pizza to be delivered. We got a pizza with mushroom and onions. The onions were underneath the cheese, and the mushrooms were on top - a pretty obvious indication that they were forgotten about and just slapped on top as an afterthought. The mushrooms were dark colored, almost old looking, and greasy... were they deep fried? No idea, very weird. The sauce was slightly more flavorful than tomato paste, and the crust was just standard.

I hear the Evergreen Park location is the best, which is annoying, because if they're all "Barraco's", shouldn't they taste the same? Whatever. We won't be eating here again. Don't waste your money.

I'm quite surprised this place has as high of reviews as it currently does. The customer service when it comes to coupons here is always terrible. I mean, beyond terrible. The management staff is rude most times, and it frustrates me because their pizza is delicious. Here are some examples of their so-called "coupons."

    50% off any pizza!
Fine print: up to $5 off.
Note: even their smallest cheese pizza is more than $10

Buy one entree, get one  free!
Fine print: up to $10 off
Note: every single "entree" on the entire menu is more than $10

Groupon! $10 for $20 worth of food!
Fine print: dine-in only (this note was not on the mobile site when I purchased the Groupon in the first place)
Note: the "dine-in" area is so small and the main rooms are used for parties. Not to mention, the Groupon only had a 2 month window. I called to ask if they could extend it for 1 or 2 days since I was out of town, and they rudely told me that I had "2 whole months" to use the Groupon and their system won't allow for anything that is expired.

It is sad to see a place not accommodate customers and deceive them through fine print on their coupons. (For example, just say "$5 off any pizza" instead of trying to trick me with the "50% off any pizza" wording.) In the past, I keep giving them another chance and keep being disappointed. I am now on a Barraco's boycott and will not be going there ever again.

Late night on a week day we were searching all over for a pizza place that was still open and Barraco's was! We ordered a large 1/2 cheese 1/2 spinach and sausage thin crust pizza. It was good! The crust was really thin and the sauce was very tasty. They put just the right amount of ingredients on.

Read their coupons VERY CAREFULLY. Buy one get one becomes a lot less there when buried in the fine print. All I'm sayin'.

The deep dish pizza is excellent. We went there for Father's Day and called a head with our pizza order.  They had the table ready and waiting when we arrived.   My wife says their mac and cheese is the best.  The staff was friendly and the service was prompt.

    Underwhelmed times 3.

Fine, it was 3 work parties but I did give it 3 chances.

Soggy salad.  Pizza with only a bit more pizzazz than frozen.

The servers were super friendly, worked really hard to be efficient and polite.  They did a great job.

Maybe I need to go when it's not a work party?  Nah, 3 times was enough.

I've been eating Barraco's pies since the early '80's, at their Evergreen Park location, and the restaurant in OP is beautiful, and keeps the flavor of their legendary pies.

The decor is beautiful.   I really like the "pick up" counter, with a bunch of wines staring at you while you pick up your take home pie.  The bar is very nice as well.

The bruschetta is excellent, as is the salad they served us.  The Chicken Tet could be improved, but by no means was horrible (my go-to Tet is from Papa Joe's, Orland Park location.  Have had several different plates here, and all were fine.  But the pies are where it's at.  Their sausage, and sauce, are top notch.  I also like the cheese blend they use.

Oh, and if you go when they are having a bag tournament or karaoke, the eye candy for both sexes is pretty darn good.

I go here every Monday to play poker. Its a great resturant/bar with a fun clean atmosphere. The waitresses are very nice and fast. The pizza by the slice is a great deal too. It is easy to pass up but its worth the stop.

What a great surprise in finding a new gem.

This location is part of a large strip mall and we happened upon it by chance.  Near the neighborhood Jewel grocery store, and surrounded by small stores (i.e. UPS store), it is easy to pass up----but don't.

They have indoor seating and outdoor seating.  Perfect for a summer evening!

Perhaps best known for their pizza (comes in ultra-thin, thin, deep dish, and pan) and their pizza is outstanding.  Really like it from the sauce to the seasoning, and love the homemade sausage.

Also highly recommend their pasta dishes---the pasta with shrimp and broccoli was very good and their pan fried lake perch was excellent.

Highly recommend the stuffed artichoke for an appetizer as well as the minestrone soup.

The wine list is a good mix-----decent bottles for as little as 19.00 for a nice house chianti and you can find a mix of bottles for up to 40.00 per bottle.  Very reasonable wine list with some nice selections.

Looking forward to going back---this place is especially good for groups.
