A childhood favorite. I go here often with my friends, often enough that when I walk in they already know my order. Great for family, friends, and even a beer (they have their liqueur license as well).
Family run business that really puts together a great establishment, and great food at a great price.
Never been disappointed in my food at Bazel's. I like the pizza, subs and calzones. Food never takes longer than they say, prices are reasonable. Once they made a mistake, our food was under my wife's name. Turns out, another Laura ordered food too. I called in the order and my wife picked it up, so she didn't realize the bags and box weren't right. I called when she got home, despite the fact that they don't deliver, they brought us the correct order very quickly. They were so nice and apologetic about it that I even tried to tip the driver and he wouldn't take the money. They refunded our money AND let us keep the original order too.
Review Source:Great little sub shop. Not a big fan of their pizza's... in particular their way of doing hamburger, sausage & veggies... but they've got great subs & salads. The steak salads are amazing. Â Quick service, friendly staff, and they take debit/credit.
The staff here is really great. Â The owner runs the place I believe, and they all seem very connected to the town and their patrons. Â Nice to find that as opposed to a shop run by teenagers.
I manage an apartment building in Holliston. Â Before starting the job, I had no idea where Holliston was or what it had to offer. Â My first couple of months, I lunched at the Holliston Superette, Table Top Pizza, and Subway. Â I didn't know any better. Â Luckily for me, I was interviewing an applicant for one of my vacant apartments and she brought a friend with her. Â While my applicant was filling out the application, I chit chatted with her friend who was a Holliston native. Â Taking my opportunity to find somewhere else to eat, I asked her friend for suggestions. Â Bazel's was one of them. Â I ventured over one day (they don't deliver) and I ordered a pizza. Â I'm not a crust girl and when I *do* eat the crust, I usually dip it in salad dressing or hot sauce. Â But Bazel's didn't require any dipping sauces. Â It's buttery and crispy and...well...just perfect.
Their pizza was so good that for my resident holiday party, I choose Bazel's to "cater" and my residents were all raving about how great the pizza was. Â So not only did it solidify my feelings about their pizza, their food made me shine and made me the awesome Rental Manager that throws great parties and has good taste in the eyes of my residents. Â
I've developed quite a relationship with the good folks of Bazel's over the past few months. Â So much, that one day a few months ago, they made me feel like a rockstar and featured my favorite pizza toppings (pepperoni & pineapple) as their pizza of the day. Â They also know my name when I call and when I place my pizza order, they acknowledge it as "your pizza". Â It's an amazing family run business and they seem to know most of their customers by name. Â It's almost like the Cheers of pizza.
And it's not just pizza they're good at. Â They have great subs, particularly the Charlie's Bomb, which has become my Maintenance Manager's new favorite lunch. Â And their raspberry vinaigrette is the perfect dressing for any salad. Â If you get a chance, stop in. Â These guys are absolutely worth it!
Bazel's is a great stop home after a round at Pine Crest.
I usually go with the BBQ Chicken Calzone and the large is enough for a couple of meals worth for me.
The customer service is top notch, they always give extra Bleu Cheese when I ask, and theyre normally pretty fast about getting orders done promptly.
Prices are about what you'd expect for a non-chain pizza joint, so just the usual there. Â Tons of food to choose from, and they have different sizes in everything.
Finally, the food is great. Â Its not the greatest thing I've ever had, but it is definitely somewhere that I will continue to patronize based on the food, the people, and the location.
Go. Â You wont regret it after!
When I get away for lunch at work, this is where I go 99% of the time. Â The chicken gyros (both the grilled and buffalo) are my absolute favorites, especially as they go so well with the real gyro bread (which is thick and very different from the usual tortilla wrap or pocket pita you usually see elsewhere); there was a week where I couldn't go for lunch, and I swear I had buffalo chicken gyro withdrawals during the weekend.
I can't eat a whole pizza on my own (well, not in front of my co-workers, anyway), but because they rotate the several kinds of slices they offer for lunch (i.e. not just the standard cheese and pepperoni), I've been able to try many kinds and they have always been great (especially the taco and hamburger with secret sauce pizzas) Â I've also had the chance to order salads, calzones, some subs, and the fish & chips, and I enjoyed them as well; never a complaint.
Finally, the owners and staff are the best! Â Always friendly, attentive, and so nice to talk to.
We moved to Holliston a few years ago. One of my sons had mentioned to friends he had ordered calzone from a local Italian chain restaurant and was told he must try Bazel's because it's the best. We are now believers. We love the steak combo.  And our youngest gets plain cheese pizza  However, I must personally add my highest praise goes here because I can get a nice big salad made with grilled marinated chicken on spring greens. I ask for the buffalo without dressing because it doesn't need anything more. It's not a red buffalo sauce, but it's nice and spicy. It is SO tasty I can eat it guilt free!!  So everyone in the family gets what they want and everyone is happy!!  Our family LOVES this place!!  And if they have it on hand, we often add an order of baklava to share. So we are glad the Greeks do pizza. It works for us!
Review Source:I thought this place was a good find too, friendly people and it looks clean. Most of the sandwiches are good, but the pizza is lame. Once I saw the grill guy go from grilling to the cash register and right back to grilling and putting together gyros without washing I crossed this place off my restaurant list.
Review Source:Hands down my favorite takeout of all time. Â Every other place I go has to measure up to it and no one has yet come close.
I fell in love with Bazel's because of their buffalo chicken. Â Calzone, salad, dinner, you name it and it's delicious. Â Everything else is great, but the buffalo is the crown jewel of this place.
Listen, the food here is excellent, but what really sets it apart is the family atmosphere. Â They seem to know everyone's name who walks in here. Â This place is the only reason I wish I still lived in Holliston.
What a great place, and how fortunate that it is in our town! Â The family is super friendly and quick to find out who you are and what you like to order. Â The pizzas are fantastic as well. Â We've ordered sandwiches here too, on occasion, and they have been well done. Â We like it so much we order almost once a week!
