Belle Isle Sports Bar & Grille

Went to watch the Badger game. Ended up staying to eat lunch. Great service! Bourbon burger awesome. Bourbon sauce compliments it very well. Mushrooms were full portabella caps! Burgers were cooked to order. Always a plus. Great place to eat and catch the game.

i was in minocqua for the snowmobiling season, and we went to belle isle because it seemed like it was jamming, we walk in and it seems ok, so we ordered 2 O bombs, my friend drank his when i noticed mine had little black things floating in it, in closer inspection it was a ton of fruit flys in my shot! so i send it back ask for a new one, and as she is pouring a new one she looks in the glass and brings the glass she poured and the bottle to another bartender.  apperently tons of fruit flys in that one too.  then another bartender comes over to us and says "sorry tons of fruit flys are in that bottle, your best bet is to not order anything flavored bc they all have fruit flys in them" and then puts it back on the shelf!!!!! GROSS, as a bartender myself i was very disgusted bc they obviously dont clean there bottle toppers or cover them up at night with cones to prevent that.  i think they need a serious bar cleaning. I also noticed bartenders taking turns going out from behind the bar and drinking beer, then going to serve costumers again, not the service i would have wanted or quility of drinks, so if you ever go there make sure you ordered bottle beer. or just dont go there at all unless you want to drink bugs! bacteria written all over it.

I recently was in town for a relaxing weekend and we hit up this place on a Friday.  It has that typical Northern Wisconsin look and feel to it.  They have a limited menu but everything was well pre-paired and presented (really presented).  I had the grilled cod and it was super!

They have plenty of TVs to watch the big game and only a few Townies were around to look at you fun as you ask questions about what to do around town.

The only disappointment was they only had 2 beers on tap, and they don't carry much top end booze.
