Been going for a while, but finally got around to writing a review.  Great place to go with the whole family-  our kids range from ages 8-1.  The kids always enjoy their food, and especially the game room.   Plenty of big screen TV's so you can enjoy the game.  The wait staff is always friendly and courteous.  The French Dip and Grilled Ahi Tuna salad are our staples and always delicious.  The owner or manager makes himself visible and checks on all guests.   He even chased us down when we forgot our sunglasses!

We walked in the place and had to wait a good 10 mins before being greeted/seated.
The place was NOT BUSY either. Not sure if they are understaffed or if the hostess just didn't care. The lobby was full of ppl trying to be seated and the employees there just walked past all of us looked and kept on walking.
The food was good. I had the Grilled Ahi tuna salad; hubs had the chicken wings, which were quite small but good sauce, my dad had the burger and said it was good. We also ordered the garlic fries which were quite tasty.
Beers were cold and our server was pretty attentive.
    Would probably go back.

Walking distance from the hotel was awesome, on the way to Lagunitas even better, and they have quality beer on tap! What more can a girl ask for... we didn't try the food since we were still full from Russian River but on the next trip up we will give them a shot for lunch or dinner!

On most occasions I'll sit in the bar area. Service is typically good. I tend to like going for happy hour or catching a quick game. Large TV's and they are plentiful so you wont miss a beat. The double dipped wings are real good, they rock a local selection of good craft beers in addition to the staples and I thought the hummus platter was great. It was full of fresh veggies which I found to be a huge bonus. Thanks BTG, I'll keep coming back!

I love Beyond the Glory!  It is my place of choice when I want a salad as they have so many delicious options, but I also really like their sandwiches and burgers.  If you go on certain days (Fridays?) you can get the lobster bisque when they have it as the soup of the day.  It is SO yuuuuummmmy!

Beyond the Glory has a laid back atmosphere with ongoing sports games that pleases my husband.  We've been quite often and have always received great service, but tonight was extra special because one of the owners, Sean, introduced and chatted with us for a bit.  It really made us feel extra welcome!  I told him a story about how much I liked the Lobster Bisque and how I even had a stranger recommend it to me when I was in the soup section at Safeway which sparked a conversation with this stranger about how I already loved it and how we both wished it was on the menu every day.  Sean asked if I would tell the story again so his chef could hear, so I did.  I thought it really was nice that the owner was looking out for his staff and making sure they were getting the praise they deserve!  Kudos to everyone at Beyond the Glory for being awesome!

My family and friends have been going to Beyond the Glory since it opened.  We have noticed a SEVERE decline in food, customer service etc. since it has been under new management.  Another reviewer said that "it feels like the restaurant is being run by a bunch of high school students" and I couldn't agree more!
Last night was the final straw.  We had a local high school booster/football discount card that says "buy two drinks and an entree- get the second entree free".  In VERY small print is says up to a $12 value.
So when we got our bill only $10 was taken off, even though the lowest entree was $11.95.  Yes it's only $1.95, but it is the principle.  So I brought it to the attention of the waitress - who was very attentive by the way and received an over 20% tip - and she informed me that it was a "typo" on the card, but she would give us the full value any way.
Come on! Last time we were in there our friend had a different coupon and the manager/owner said it wasn't valid - although nowhere on the coupon was it stated what you had to buy to get the discount.
STOP putting out coupons/flyers and participating in discount programs if you won't honor them!
BAD BAD short sighted management!  We are sorry the old owner sold, it WAS a great place!

No change in rating, but came back over the weekend to watch the NHL playoffs.. Great TV and beer, but still questionable service. seems understaffed for a weekend. Food was again just ok..

One new complaint was that my wife and I ordered a salad and a burger, and we were going to share and the waitress offfered to just split them for us to make it easy.. of course when the bill came there was  $3 charge..had she told me in advance about that we would have just shared our plates.. not sure why this place finds the need to nickel and dime you to death.. subsitution charges, spilt plate charges..where does it end.. does it really cost you $3 to split two plates? I mean come on..we ordered two full price dinners..we weren't sharing a single dinner.. I know $3 isn't a lot of money, it's just the pricipal and just another example of why this place isn't a top place to go.. next time will only sit at the bar and watch the game and eat before we come...

    3.5

FOOD:  Ordered calamari and a regular cheeseburger with Havarti cheese, with an iced tea to drink.  Overall, decent pub food.  The cheeseburger had a nice crust to it and was nicely juicy.

SERVICE:  Terrible.  I sat at the bar (because the hostess said to wait for a table might take a long time).  I had to ask for everything.  A menu.  To put my order in. Where my drink was.  For a napkin and utensils.  To refill my drink.  For my bill.

Worst service I've ever had. As a waitress, I am slightly critical of the service I get-but mostly very forgiving. Today was a different story...

Our waiter didn't give a flying frog that we were there. Granted, we were on the patio while his ONE (maybe two, tops) other table(s) were inside-but c'mon!!! It was obvious that we were just being ignored.

We had to go inside after 15 minutes to ask for our order to be taken.

When the food arrived (before the beer!!) was the last we saw of our waiter. Ya dude, I would've liked another Bloody Mary.. Thanks?!

The food was decent, we got onion rings and a "Chopped Cobb" that was by no means chopped.. But the lack of interest this guy showed us and the obvious absence of any type of management was appalling!

Looks like you're loosing customers left and right BTG. But I've gotta wonder: do you even care?

Service is horrible and the place feels like it's run by a bunch of high school kids. I got a coupon in the Monthly Mailer, so I called in an order to use 2 coupons. The guy on the other line said I could only use one coupon and not combine them.

So, when I arrived to pick up my food, the cute but useless high school girl hostess said coupons don't apply to dine out. It doesn't say that anywhere and she should've just said OK and used the coupon.

They lost some GOOD customers over a major customer service rule - The customer is always right !

My girlfriend and I have been going to beyond the glory frequently for the past few months mostly because of the location. We were very impressed at first with the atmosphere and good food. We soon became aware of the way things went around there one night when we ordered food and got charged for more than we ordered. The staff refunded us the money but we could overhear them speaking negatively about us in the corner of the restaurant. We have been loyal customers and still get treated with disrespect, imagine being a first time customer? Think about it. The unprofessionalism takes away all of your stars BTG

My office is across the street and we go to BTG at least 2X per month and often weekly.  I am changing my review to 2 stars because the last 3 times we have been in, we have had the same server - Kate.  Kate is awful.  She acts like we are an annoyance by being at her table.  She is rude and inattentive.  Today we ordered our food (4+stars for food) to go rather than be subjected to the WORST service I have ever received.  If it had been one occasion, I could let it slide but it has been consistently awful for the last 3 visits.  I honestly don't know how/why the management puts up with her.  I have seen servers on "Mystery Diner" & "Restaurant Impossible" that are no where near as bad as Kate.  She is really rude to the bussers and other coworkers that make BTG a pleasant place to visit.

If management cares about their customers hopefully they will do something.

Typical sports bar with good beer selection and okay food.  Normally the experience here is fine, but last Friday was pretty painful.

It was understandably crowded for a Friday night, so we weren't expecting to be in and out but we were expecting to have our waitress at least pay attention to us.  We had to get up out of our seats and ask if we could place our order after she avoided us for a good half an hour after she served us our beers and appetizer.

Also, when we asked her what the Lagunita's guest beer was she flat our said "What the fuck"...Now, we know that the name of this beer is WTF, but it doesn't stand for what the fuck and even if it did, it's probably not a good idea to say it to your guests....right?!  It was just really weird and honestly a little uncomfortable.

Overall, we will go back for the beer and mediocre food, but the waitstaff needs to step it up.

I've been meaning to write this update for a while.  This has become our go-to spot for when we feel like going to a casual eatery.  We stick to sandos and burgers most of the time and are generally pleased.  I also tried fried pickles for the first time here.  I do like this place, so I'm giving it four stars.

Most of the time the service is good.  Sometimes it is meh.  But it never ruins BTG for us.

I have to give a shout-out to a busser who my boyfriend and I have nicknamed "Hustles."  I wish I knew her name so I could give her proper brownie points!   She is on fire every time we go in there. If she's there, she's typically the one attending to promptly refilling drinks, clearing food, and bringing to-go boxes instead of our server.  Thus, our endearing nickname.

Reserved seats in the bar area? Come on...most seats were empty with reserved signs on them. I understand reserving tables in the dining area, but the bar? Good luck as this only aggravates customers, like us. WE ARE DONE!!!

Great food, diverse menu.  We have been here twice in the past month.  The first experience our waitress was absent minded and acted like we were a burden instead of customers, it took her over 10min to initially greet us and take our drink order.  Our Second visit our server was Jorge and he was awesome and on top of it.  He moved the rating up, because lets be honest the waitress we had the first time 12/8 around 7pm was terrible.

    I live 2 miles from BTG and work less than 1/4 mile away so I used to come here A LOT. I especially would come for lunches and Sunday morning football. Here is an example of how often we would go AND why I would never go back;

Thursday, 6 of us came for lunch and spent about $120. After working late, 4 of us stopped back in for a couple of beers and spent about $45.

Friday, met my wife after work for drinks, then decided to stay and have dinner at the bar. TJ was our waiter and everything was fine until some psuedo TV show came in and started filming. We stayed for a little while longer, then left...spent about $135.

Saturday my wife was shopping so I told her to drop me at BTG and pick me up when done. I had some beers, some food, and wife joined me for a little bit...spent about $60.

Sunday - Sperbowl Sunday 2/5/2012...My wife had a little more shopping so I asked her to drop me off at BTG. It was about 2 hours before game time and they were setting up for their big party. The bartender that served me on Saturday was there (she was AWESOME) and she said that the bar was closed for a special party. I explained that I only had time for 1 drink, so she said come on in and poured me a drink. I paid right away and sat at the end of the bar out of the way. TJ sees me and calls the other bartender over. I see them talking and she then come over to me and says "I am so sorry, but I have to ask you to leave since this is a party for people who have paid". I said I understood, and said I would finish my drink and leave. Apparantly I didnt leave fast enough so TJ stormed into the back. 2 minutes later, a woman, accompanied by a man, cam to me and said "I am the owner here, this is a private party, and I will have to ask you to leave immediatly!"

I wrote the owner an email the following day, explaining my side of the story, to give her a chance to apologize. Never heard a word from her.

I will never step foot in this place again and I routinely steer my colleagues away from there.

It's not your typical generic sports bar food. I always enjoy my meals. The place is always very very clean and comfortable. It's a good place to bring the family and Beyond the Glory seems to attract a lot of the families from the neighborhood which I think is great. They have big screen TVs at just about every angle you might be facing and when I go on weekends, there is sometimes a group of fans from some out of town team, that gathered to route on their team. Last time a bunch of neighbors who were Saints fans were there. Go figure. Either way, they have this AWESOME veggie and humus plate with warm pita bread that is the best. Plenty of great beers on tap and a friendly group of servers and hostess on hand. All in all, great sports bar, great family eatery, great place for a good meal. Thumbs Up! Go Giants!

4 stars for the food.  But, get takeout. The service has gone downhill and has got me so frustrated.  I don't know what happened over the summer, but the staff completely changed. There was always a consistent mature staff who knew me and my family and the service was great. I have  been to Beyond the Glory 3 times since the kids have been back in school and now it is a lot of inexperienced kids working there with no direction .There is never a manager on duty. i refuse to pay 70+ bucks for a meal only to be so upset by the service every time.  Holly, whom we love, is still there but never seems to be working when we come in.   The food is always so good .Get takeout so you can enjoy your chow without being upset with the subpar service.
4 stars for the food and 1 for the service.

Good pub for for the family. It's a sports bar you can bring the kids to when it's not too crazy...good amount of TV"s. Wait staff is fine. Nice place to go to.

They have video games for kids....Great MANGEMENT They held 50 people and served us all no problem. Our server was top notch.

5 CENT BEER Promotion is a ripoff...

Went for a Monday night football game that the 49ers were playing in. My friends and I wanted to take advantage of BTGs great 5 cent beer happy hour until the first score of MNF. Great idea right?

Our server took our beer order 5 minutes before kickoff and everyone either got Coors or Bud light... easy enough right?

Well the deal with this promotion is that you can get your beer right after kickoff, and order as many others as you want (must finish 1 before you can get another, understandable) until the first points are scored on Monday night Football only 5 CENTS a beer. Cool.

It would have been cool if someone would have brought us our FIRST ROUND before a field goal was made... 5 MINUTES into the game... yes, 5 minutes into the first quarter. as in about 15 minutes of us sitting at our table wondering "where the hell are our beers?!?!"

Needless to say, when we got the first round we were not happy, especially since they just brought us all Coors light. I don't really care all that much between Coors and Bud, but some of the people at the table did.

Overall, cool bar set up. Shitty service.

I really like Beyond the Glory as a sports bar. The food is typical sports bar fare. Pretty good, but not great. The service is the same.

My big gripe with the place comes on game day. They have a lot of televisions and a great bar area to watch the games, but the owner reserves many of the best tables for his buddies.

Many times I've gone in and asked to be sat at an apparently empty table, only to be told they are reserved.

So today I called to reserve one for my party and I was told they don't take reservations. When I asked about the previously reserved tables I was told that those are for friends of the owner. So apparently, if you aren't the buddy of the owner, you are a bit of a second class citizen here.

I get that there are perks being an owner, but it's unprofessional to treat a restaurant that you own like your man cave at the expense of other paying customers.

Apprehensive about Sports Bars but we were celebrating my husbands birthday dinner the night of the 3rd GIANTS World Series game. Knowing we wanted to watch the game we picked none-other than Beyond the Glory. The night was so much fun, the food was so perfectly matched to the "sports" experience that we couldn't help but plan to arrive at the same place the following day for game four of the World Series!! We were a table of 12 and we were accommodated  (granted we were well prepared and early!) but we were impressed by the level of service that STAN provided that evening. It was a full house and we were a rowdy, full table with many different needs  - men, women and children but STAN made it absolutely perfect!! He was flawless in ensuring all our needs were met, our glasses and our tummies were full!! We had one of the most memorable nights of our lives at Beyond the Glory that night... making sure we embarrassed our girls and rooted for our HOME TEAM THE GIANTS!!! It was out of the norm for us, exciting and simply fantastic all the way around... great service, food, drink!!! STAN really did an exceptional job and made the night PERFECTION!

There was only one minor speedbump (LOL!) everyone in our area was watching the GIANTS GAME and all the televisions were set accordingly - but one... we requested it be changed as well because some of us couldn't see the television without hurting our necks. The waiter was WONDERFUL to ask for the channel to be changed but the owner would not do it. We just wished that since we were all GIANTS fans that the exception could have been made - just that once to accommodate us but at the end of the day... GIANTS WON and it was a great place to watch the game!!!!!

    YAHOO!! GOOO GIANTS!!!!!

So, i decided to come here for dinner again. About the same experience, great food, nice service, cool ambiance, except for one minor problem at the end of my visit.

I was going to bring my leftovers home, and i wanted a bag to carry all of the boxes. So, when i asked the hostess for one, she said "OK I'll get you one" and just walked away. I went back to the table and decided to wait. After a little while of waiting, i decided to go ask her again. About the same answer, and she walked away again. And when i went back to the table, about 3 minutes later, my waitress came back with a bag.

Except for that one little problem, this place is still great for sports fans. Even for non-sports fans as well.

Monica, Fluffy Bunny moved to Petaluma today and yours was my welcome-to-town dinner.  Fluffy like some healthy eatin' so a grilled veggie sandwich seemed perfect (even for humans).  We bunnies really don't like our veggies cooked to mush, slopped with cheese, and coated with that awful salt.

Fluffy was hoping that your efforts since you bought the place would be further along.  However, it's doubtful that I'll be back for a long while.  I speak for all of the Bunny family when I say I'm disappointed because we were so hopeful for you.

Bunny's advice is to seek honest feedback from your customers.  Not just that walk-by "how was everything" feedback, but random honest appraisals.  You'll always have the unwary folks and the beer bunch, but if you want the Bunny clan, you need some awareness.

Awesome down to earth clean sports bar. My boyfriend and I wanted steak. But the menu said it would be available after 5PM. So we were gonna have some wings to wait until that time came. The server was like "You know what let me take care of you", "I just checked they made the mashed potatoes".  So instead of ordering wings we ordered our steaks. It came with some veggies. The whole meal was so good. The steak was seasoned to perfection. The mashed potatoes were so good. Yes the mashed potatoes were made from real potatoes not from a kit like other places use. You can taste the butter and the cream in it. We also ordered a brownie sundae OMG the chocolate sauce on that sucker so MMMMMMM DELISH.

The service I got here was on point. The decor of the place has my favorite teams on the wall. Lot of T.V's around for all you sports freaks out there. There is outdoor sitting. Lot's of parking on the lot for free. Just right off the freeway.

I will be a repeat customer.

Oh they serve breakfast on the weekends too.

I tend to be pretty forgiving about bad service since I've worked in many a bar/restaurant in my life.  But...this place blows.  I was really shocked by the behavior of their management staff today.  I will never go back there.  Here's what happened...

Went in to watch a particular football game.  It wasn't on any of the TVs in the bar area so they suggested we sit in the restaurant area & they'd switch the game on in there.  There was another group of people also there for the same game & they went in to the restaurant area, too.  They put it on 2 of the TVs for us & the other group.

Service was OK up to this point.  But then we asked our waitress if they could turn the sound on on the TV with the game we were watching.  This seemed like a reasonable request since my table (& the other table) were the only ones in the restaurant area & we were both watching the same game.  The sound was up high on a TV with a game no one was watching.  The waitress huffed, rolled her eyes at me and walked away.  The sound stayed on for the game no one was watching.

A little while later, I heard the manage YELL across the restaurant at the table behind us "you can just email ME directly" or something like that.   We asked what happened, and the nice (not drunk) guy who was there with his elderly parents told us he had simply asked for the sound to be turned up on the game he was watching.  He was rudely told that it wasn't their policy to do that and if he wanted to he could complain to the management.  When he asked how to do that, the manager himself told him he should just leave and made the comment I referenced above.  That's Customer Service for ya!

Had many good meals at Beyond The Glory, but lately I have have nothing but bad service there. Young, inexpereinced waitresses that act if your a bother to them, need to be replaced. The food is good, the wait staff, not so much! They never say hello, no smile, just happy to get a pay check I guess.
I'll go to the bar for a beer, but until they get decent wait staff, I wont dine.

This place used to be better, It was nice to have local families owning it and you always knew someone. But, they have gone down hill, the food is now decent but it is overpriced for what it is. not a bad place to have a beer and watch the game.

Gave an extra star, I've dealt with the catering side a couple times through work. and the food was good and they cleaned up their mess. Not sure how pricing is Jim gave me a plate.

When BTG first opened they were awesome with good food and nice atmosphere. Now, it's the the exact opposite.
First, the staff. I don't know what these kids have up their butts, but they should get it out. The staff is just rude and snooty and extremely slow. My latest and last trip there my friends and I waited almost 20 minutes before we were even greeted by our waitress, and while we waited we watched as she was just hanging out with the bartender. Okay then.
Second, the food. It just does not taste good. The salad lettuce was gross and soggy, and my burger was way over cooked for a medium-rare. this is how it has been my last few trips. Bad food and bad service now. Last time there for awhile. Now it's Beyond the Won't Even Consider It and No No Glory.
1 star for their flat screens, and 1 star for the only nice person in there, their hostess Sandy.

This review is based on a single visit around 1pm on a weekday for lunch. I dropped by for a salad after a friend recommended the place as a great place for, you guessed it, a salad.

BtG looks like the ultimate sports bar and there was March Madness happening on multiple screens. That was cool.

The menu was pretty extensive for a sports bar. I ended up going for the Sonoma Salad which had grilled chicken, goat cheese, and walnuts nestled among the mixed greens. The salad was tasty but nothing really special. The portion was a little less than I expected and was a little light on the cheese and walnuts.

The service was good and the wait staff friendly. I'll need to go back another time to see about adding a star or two.

    Zert: Didn't have any
    Charity: Yes

Summary: For a strip-mall sports bar, Beyond the Glory is not just better than what you would expect, it is good in its own right. They have a sizable menu, good beer, great food and the service is SUPERB!!! And important to me, as a local and someone who is community oriented, they support many of our community organizations.

Memorable items: Burger, pulled pork sandwich, garlic fries, sweet potato fries, the beer, the outdoor seating on nice sunny afternoon and the service.

    Misses: None

    Total Misses: None

The burger was excellent. Although the menu mentioned that it was Angus beef (I think about 95% of beef cattle in the U.S. is Angus) and there was nothing telling me that it was anything other than the lowly ground chuck, the burger patty is close to standing on its own. It didn't have the gamey flavour that ground chuck often has. I ordered it medium and could tell that if I had gone medium-rare it would have been perfect. The bacon, cheese and BBQ sauce was very good and the chipata bun was a nice touch. It came with several kinds of fries but always being one to experiment, I went with the sweet potato fries. They were very good although it seems that most places have figured out how to do these well so that was no surprise.

We also tried the pulled pork sandwich, which we had tasted at last years Taste of Petaluma. (<a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.tasteofpetaluma.org%2F&s=3845746407053694ac0ac056a1eb07e3d87d1f7ad203ebe0c84fb1b2364f35a4" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.tasteofpetalu…</a>) It was as excellent as we remembered as was actually the reason for our visit today. It comes with some very tasty slaw and a choice of several types of fries. For these fries we went with garlic.

For all you restaurants that think that slopping a bunch of minced garlic on top of your fries makes them garlic fries...go to BTG and taste theirs. They cook up the garlic with butter (or maybe oil) first, then toss the fries in and finally sprinkle a bit more garlic and some Parmesan cheese on top. THIS IS HOW GARLIC FRIES SHOULD BE PREPARED!!! It had great garlic flavour without burning you out with garlic. Kudos!!!

The service was excellent and even though there were no other diners on the patio they had no problem with accommodating us there. I often ask a lot of questions (big surprise, no?) about the burger meat, how they prepare their garlic fries, etc...and our server handled it great. She didn't take offense, as many do, but just answered what she could and came back with answers to the questions she could not answer originally. She checked on us the perfect amount of times and the bill came when asked for it.

For a sports bar it is actually quite civilized. There are several seating areas so you don't have to be in the sports part of the restaurant if you don't want and the outdoor seating is great.

They also cater which has me trying to think of the next event that I can schedule their pulled-pork sandwiches into.

They are also very community oriented. In these tough economic times community and non-profit groups need help more than ever. If I am going to spend my hard earned money on a meal I want to spend it at a place that supports our community. And they don't just support local sporting events, they even support the arts through their generous donations to Cinnabar Theater. We actually ate here prior to a Cinnabar performance and it was perfect since it is within about five minutes of the theater.

(NOTE: I am a Bacon Cheese Burger and Hot Dog connoisseur. I know that I can be brutally honest but it is in an effort to raise standards and do right by my fellow Yelpers by helping them to make an informed decision. I am quite picky in regards to these "foods" so if you are a restaurant that I have rated and would like to discuss my review please feel free to contact me; I can help. Too many places cover their burger with sauce, cheese, and bacon in the hopes that nobody will notice their crappy meat. This does not make for a great burger, no matter how much the general public likes them. If your meat can not stand on its own than you should choose a new supplier or find some better seasonings. I am not trying to discourage or put you down but burgers aren't that hard to make well and far too many places don't live up to some of the burger making basics.)

Picture it - Football.  Play offs.  People coming in to WATCH football...
and yes, they do have lots of large TV --- do you know what they were LISTENING TO?   Music.  Bland boring music.  Not football.  boo.

    Hot wings still good.

I had the Glory burger, which was cooked to my order with curly fries and a side of hot wing sauce for dipping said fries.  (have i mentioned I like their sauce? - their blue cheese is yummy too)

The service was less than great.  Staff seemed more bothered to be there then eager to help.  Food came out, and the expediter just dropped it off without saying a word, or asking if we wanted anything.

Prices for what you get are a little on the spendy side.  UNLESS you come for Sunday night 25 cent wings, THEN - it's totally worth it.  That's when I try to come.

Good food (burgers and veggie burgers).
    Breakfast on the weekends. (star)
Nice place to watch "the game"

However, there have been times I've not been impressed with the service.  Sometimes I feel like the servers are just standing around talking...taking orders...and then talking more while the bussers are running around doing everything.  The servers aren't even the ones who deliver your food...EVER.  There are a few exceptions to this rule and it's mostly the guys that work there that are any good at their job.

**update**I came back to give you the extra star for ciabatta buns.  Vegetarians...the bench warmer is deelish...with swiss cheese.  mmmm...I think it may even be vegan (without the cheese of course) you may wanna double check the buns...but for me...thats what keeps me coming!

    Bullet points:
    * Annoyingly popular
    * Proves that most people have no taste
    * One star for being close to a couple of my favorite places

I can't believe anyone likes this place - it is definitely "beyond" the glory.

I work close by, and have eaten here a number of times alone and with others, and always have the same complaints - bad service and marginal food.

The service is always either slow, indifferent, poor, or just plain nasty.  The food sounds good on the menu, but it just doesn't live up to the descriptions.

The decor is nice, and it always seems to be busy, but I suspect people really come for the sports bar atmosphere.

Another yelper says the burgers are great, and I admit I've never had one.  I'll give it another try sometime, but I don't hold out much hope.
