Love to hit this place on Tapas night. Â We will usually order several mini-plates from the special menu, which changes every week based on the chef's whim. Â I believe they also run a similar special on Monday with discounted appetizers. Â Check out the pull-apart Paesano bread, loaded with grilled peppers and cheese. Â Lots of Tex-Mex flair, which you can probably guess from the images here on Yelp. Â They also make a nice strong margarita!
Review Source:This place is awesome. My boyfriend and I drive by it all the time and from the road you don't get a real good idea of what it is about. We finally stopped in there today and I have to say this place is great!! Great beer selection, good vibe, and amazing food. We will be going here regularly from now on. It's too bad they don't get a ton of ppl in there.
Review Source:They used to be good about 15 years ago, maybe longer.
Currently, if I could give ZERO stars, I would. Â This place is gross. Â The atmosphere is dark and outdated. Â I was there for a friend's birthday in November and it smelled like a sewer. Â It doesn't feel clean. Â
Regarding the food, it is not good. Â I have friends that occasionally want to go here; they like the crab cakes. Â For what reason, I do not know. Â They are heavily fried with thick breading, as are many of the dishes on their current menu. Â Many of their items are served with this nasty rice that most of our table agreed tasted of too much rosemary. Â In my opinion, super heavy rosemary rice, doesn't blend very well with their whole southwestern thing that they have going on. Â
The service is weird. Â The last time I was in, the server was super low rent and complaining about her bad day and saying that "she needed some medication". Â I don't want to hear that when I am going out for dinner. Â I am sorry about your life...we all have problems...but I am not interested...I don't know you.
And now they have change the name to "BJ's Bar and Grill". Â Uh...really?
Oh, and the soda is flat.
