Ok so I've been to this bar a billion times but never thought to review it until I decided to eat there on Friday night. I do know that in the past the staff is always poor to mediocre at best. We visited this time b/c we wanted to get a good seat at the bar for the Bruins game. The bartender was nice but she took forever to notice us and then in between drinks she was very slow.
We ordered the fish and chips. It was good but the ranch cole slaw it came with was disgusting. Dripping with what I can only assume is hidden valley from a packet of powder. Don't get me wrong, I love a good ranch and coleslaw - but not together. This was just not a good coleslaw idea, period. Let alone when its dripping with gobs of sauce.
Finally when the bruins game started the game kept cutting out since they have SATELLITE TV. We gave it a bit more time but just about 6 minutes of the 10 we had been watching had been cut out/frozen so we decided to leave. I felt bad for the bartender but then we get slapped with a $90 bill after having just one entree (we split the fish and chips b/c we weren't that hungry) and maybe 6 drinks total. Now I'm no stranger to expensive drinks and when made correctly I'll spend $15 on a martini. But I'm sorry - $8-$9 for a poorly made mixed drink in Milford at this place is soooo not worth it.
Seems like whoever owns this place just totally doesn't care at all.
The service here could NOT be worse. The bartenders act like they are doing you a favor bringing you a drink. Have tried this place a few times as I am a fan of live music and they have bands, but it's always the same experience. T
he service is SO bad I will NEVER be back.
What is management thinking? You make money the MORE you sell, not making people wait so long to get served that they eventually give up.
