Boondocks

To be sure, this place is a bar first and a restaurant second.  Though a little shabby looking from the outside, the inside is quite clean, full of lovely wood walls/decor, and extremely friendly.  There are the trappings of most watering holes in out of the way places (lottery machines, etc.) but the drinks are cheap and the service is really fantastic.  

There are mostly domestics on tap; however, you'll also usually find at least one or two beers from craft Oregon brewers - usually Widmer and Deschutes.  The Black Butte is almost always on and in the Summer you can reliably find the Widmer Hefe.  

The food is typical bar fare.  There's a wide selection of fried foods as well as some sandwich options and a hearty country meal option of meatloaf/roast/etc.

Overall, if you're looking for a friendly place to drink a cold beer, watch a game, and meet some friendly local folks, give it a shot.
