Still on a coupon turkey sandwich expedition I walked into Boston Market with the coupon in my hand. While a dollar off really isn't a 'bargain' we had 2 of them so why not?
I had the turkey carver combo with a side of green beans and soda and with the dollar off the bill was $8.25 Â Allen had the chicken pot pie ($5.49) with corn ($1.29) plus a 32 ounce soda ($1.99) and minus his dollar coupon his bill was $8.24
He wasn't told about the charge for the corn until he got to the register.
The place was clean, the service fast and all the help had a smile on their face. The person who took my order also served it to me taking it to where Allen was seated.
I did notice they have removed the trash bins so, in a sense, they have bus service.
The best thing in their favor is that their turkey is 'real' and thick as compared to the thin sliced 'cold cut' style you get in other places. The sandwich was good as were the beans.
Boston Market is fine for fast food, almost 'full' service, but without the coupon I would never have gone their.
I did get a laugh from the cash receipt where it says if you buy one meal with a drink you can get one free meal--the laugh came reading 'good only the next day'--don't know about you but I seldom, if ever, eat in the same place two days in a row.
Right now Subway is still in the lead for fast food turkey sandwiches!
