Friendly staff, clean facility.  Lots of TV's to choose from.  Always order food from the bar, otherwise from my experiences the food ordered through the waitstaff isn't always arriving as hot as it should IMO.  Wings from the bar are always piping hot!  My favorite is Spicy Garlic followed by Hot BBQ.   Good selection of flavors, both sauces and dry rubs if you're into wings.  Good selection of beer on tap as well.  I like to sit at the bar at places like these, I hate the fact that this bar has the customer's back to the rest of the establishment.  Otherwise a nice place to go!

My husband, myself and some friends visit this location quite a bit during football season on Sundays. After having eaten at various other locations, I rate this one three stars for being average. Every now and then we'd get a great server but the food was generally average and the place seemed more crowded on football Sundays than most other locations I've visited. Also, the food was usually luke warm and the tv's weren't marked for which team would be where, so it was a little bit of a hassle to get seated near a tv to see the game.

IMHO, it's the only BDUBS in the area, so stop on by if you're looking for a place to grab a beer with friends and watch a game.. just be prepared to deal with the mediocrity.

Went for Sunday NFL and the place was crowded. The staff was great, worked hard and the food was good. Only complaint were all the kids (5-7 yrs) they let sit at the bar taking up space for those guys really interested in watching the game.

Good sandwich! You can build your own burger or chicken sandwich and I went the chicken route here. It was a very slow day when we went here, at lunchtime. Good service, quick refills.

Damn good burger. Terrific fries. Server, unfortunately, not so much. She was too busy talking with three military guys to refill anything or check if we needed anything.

I'll give the place a break cuz the burger was good, even tho I neglected to order it well done and the server was too busy talking to the guys and I couldn't get her attention to tell her how I wanted it cooked.

Her tip was reflective of her service.

Ok, so this place is not gourmet....BUT......

They accommodated 65 of us last week for a luncheon and while it was a little rocky, it went well.  The wings were a bit salty but the fried pickles were awesome (yes, I just complained about salt followed by a rave review of fried PICKLES).  If you want some wings, hard cider, and a loud crowd, this is your place.

Beware, calorie counters.....an order of traditional mild wings has 480 calories.  Yikes!

After a lot of trial and error, I have finally figured out the perfect night at BDubs.  If there is a basketball game on, you must be at the bar, if there's a football game on you should be somewhere better, if neither, you need to be sitting in a booth playing photo hunt.  Order whatever beer is on special while you wait for the buffalo dry rub and parmesan garlic traditional wings to come out.  Perfect relaxed night out.

Good wings- great for lunch ! Always a favorite for Buffalo Style Chicken wings in good ole Virginia. Goof Buffalo Wings are hard to find- even in Buffalo, Here in Virginia Buffalo Wild Wings have the closest thing to what we used to enjoy when we lived in Buffalo

Buffalo Wild Wings is a somewhat standard-fare wing place near the Patrick Henry Mall. It doesn't blow me away, but it's not bad either; you could certainly do a lot worse. They show sports on the TVs, but the place is one giant room, and I really don't like that for dining at all. It gets too noisy and I like to eat in a bit more piece. Still, I get it, it's a wing place for chrissakes so what do you expect?

They have 14 different sauces, including a few that are WAY too hot. I usually just go for medium heat ( I just can't eat spicy food like I used to). They come out moderately quickly and the servers are generally alright about looking after you. They also have sandwich, ribs, and burgers,  but I've only had the wraps (outside of wings), which are pretty good. I suggest either the Buffalo Ranch Chicken Wrap or the Chicken Caesar Wrap.

    Okay...

When this place first opened my friends and I were excited. I have been to BWW up near JMU with a friend before the the food was great so when they opened this one I wanted my local friends to experience what I had up north.

The food is horrible. I don't know who is running the kitchen but there is almost always something wrong. We have gone MANY times thinking that "oh, maybe we came on a bad night- we'll give them a second chance" but no go. We have had terrible luck there. The chips are nasty and undercooked, the wings sauces are mediocre at best and the service is atrocious. We waited HOURS once for wings. I ordered ribs and after half an hour the waitress came back and told me they were out, so I ordered something else and waited another HOUR for that. It isn't gourmet food we are talking about. Wings and fries, people.

Once they dropped a bucket of wet silverware on my boyfriend, messed up our orders multiple times, billed the wrong people the wrong things every time we go, and it is obnoxiously loud in there.

The jukebox is a joke, I don't even know why they bother putting it in there. You pay for a song and you can't even hear it. It is almost always packed, there is normally a 45 minute wait on the "hot nights" of Friday and Saturday (which is to be expected.)

The only people who know how to do their jobs are the bartenders. (Especially the girls, they are quick and amazing.) But don't ask for a Jack and Coke- they hardly ever have Jack in stock. Funny for a sports bar and restaurant, right?

Now when a friend invites me to go, I opt to stay home or go to Quaker Steak and Lube on Jefferson instead.

The important thing to remember about rating places is options. Options, you say? Well, consider the options when I called all over Williamsburg and Newport News looking for a place to watch the Georgia game over Labor Day weekend. Georgia, versus another top 25 team, should be pretty popular, right?

Well, in Virginia it's not on ABC, and in calling all over the area, I learned that there are a limited, if not minuscule, choices in regards to places carrying ESPN Gameday, and therefore the game I wanted to watch.

So I arrived to find not only my game playing, but sound! And every tv in the place is tuned to a college football of some variety or another including Greg Paulus' attempt to revive Syracuse football.* There are unlimited refills on Diet Coke and heaping helpings of that Monday Night Football commercial that has Ron Jaworski saying "Play on, playa."**

In addition, there's free WIFI, so I can write this review while I'm sitting here and chat with friends during the game. No power plugs that I see, but it's not exactly a Starbucks, is it?

So, if you're in the area and you need a sports bar, this is the place to come. I don't know what else is out here, and I don't really care. This place is perfect for what I need.

Game's starting -- sorry, got to call the Dawgs. Sic 'em!

    * - He's from Duke, so I automatically hate him.

** - That cracks me up every time. Ridonkulous!
