This isn't haute cuisine by any stretch, but if you just want a big, solid sandwich and a beer you'll be pleased. Â The roast beef with provolone is where it's at. Â New ownership has spruced the place up a bit with a new paint job, so it's not quite as dismal feeling as it used to be, but still very much a dive bar atmosphere. Â Lots of people seem to do take-out, although I've only ever eaten in. Â Service has been pretty decent. Â If you want an authentic dive bar atmosphere, and not a cleaned up hipster version of the same, check it out.

We stopped in the place while shopping one night and it was definitely a mistake. The place was very dark and dismal. The food was gross, even found a hair in it. I words that come to mind when trying to describe the food are greasy, tasteless, messy, and again..gross.
The place really should just focus on being a bar and shut the food service part down.
