Had a great time here! I was in town visiting a friend and a group of us went to the Wednesday Trivia Night. Fun atmosphere! The people there (employees and patrons) were very friendly. The food was fine, nothing to write home about, but the beer was cold and cheap! It was exactly what I want out of a bar.

    I would definitely go back!

Order wrong. Waited 1.5 hours for food. Emailed the managers and got no reply... Enough said!!

Arrived in time for Sunday afternoon football and the pub was *cricket - cricket* basically empty (two other patrons in the two-room space).  We stood awkwardly, shifting back-and-forth, unsticking and re-sticking our sneakers to the hardwood floor.

About five minutes later a bartender emerged from the back room, made eye contact with our party-o-4....and proceeded with topping off beers for the people sitting at the bar (...seriously...not even a "hello").

After inquiring about sitting (..or a menu), the apparently solo staff member handed us ancient and crinkled paper brochure menus and said that we had to order through him and then return to the bar to pick up our own order (...no table service).

2 stars given ONLY because : 1) awesome patio space right off the riverside - previous patrons have chiseled their names into the bar's backside bricks which makes for some pretty nifty decor; and 2) the menu actually featured some pretty decent looking options (admittedly, the three cheese grilled cheese sandwich looked incredible and price-friendly).  Who knows....maybe this is the bar of bars in Seneca Falls, but MAN..........no service?!

Great place to grab a beer and grub. After a weekend of wine tasting my wife and I were looking for a place to watch the game. It was a Sunday and the place wasn't too busy so we sat at the bar. The bar tender immediately  asked what game we wanted on. They had a Sunday special personal pizza, 10 wings, and a pitcher of beer for $15 great deal.

Update: Went back to Bulls Run Labor Day weekend  2012 around 4pm for a Bills game, beers, and some food. Walked in to see most of the lights off maybe 2 people sitting at the bar and the bar tender behind the bar. He immediately told me they were closing soon and the kitchen was closed, odd since this was 4 in the afternoon. He suggested going to Parker's, again seems odd sending patrons away to a competitor but glad he did because Parkers was very good. Had a great experience the first time terrible the second I'm gonna say 2.5 stars, and I'm not sure I'd go back probably just go to Parker's.

    Decent enough place.

I had lunch here this past week while traveling on business through the area.  The place is quite large, but was also quite empty for lunch time.  We sat outside next to the only other party in the place.  I am not familiar at all with this area or place, but it seems to be a place where college kids might be inclined to hang out in the afternoons/evenings.

There seemed to be only 1 guy working.  However, this was fine because there were only 2 tables of patrons.  If a rush had  have come in, though, I suppose the service might have suffered.  The guy who helped us was very friendly and attentive.

The food was a little odd for my taste.  I ordered the buffalo chicken salad.  I assumed buffalo chicken meant breaded and cooked in the sauce, but was surprised when I was asked if I wanted grilled chicken.  Well, grilled is healthier so I opted for grilled...plus I was intrigued.  I am not a food expert or a cook by any means, but I am fairly certain the buffalo sauce was added after the fact.  It was poured on so heavy in my salad that I didn't even need the salad dressing.  Just strange and I didn't finish it.  My colleague, however, ordered a wrap of some sort and that seemed like a better choice.  Oh, almost forgot, we were given chips and salsa to start.  Odd...I am used to only getting that as a starter in Mexican restaurants.  The chips were decent enough, though.

If I lived in the area, I might be inclined to frequent this place as the outside patio is kinda nice.  It faces a river and is peaceful.  However, I doubt I would go out of my way to find this place again.

    What a great experience!

My wife and I were only in the finger lakes region for a couple days, traveling through the wine country, when we stumbled upon this hidden gem.  We were walking canal side when we found the restaurant and decided to have lunch.  We sat on their outdoor patio and were able to look over the canal during out meal.  Great!

Our server was very friendly and even turned us onto a nearby vineyard that we ended up checking out that afternoon.  She also told us about the live music that was going to be playing there that evening, and even though it was a decent drive from the hotel, we just really dug the vibe of the place, so we drove back to Bull's Run that night.  We ended up making friends with another nice couple there and had a great night of drinks and live music.

Don't know if we'll ever be in the area again, but if we are, we're definitely going to make this a must-re-visit location.

We wanted to sit outside for lunch and our server pulled some strings to make that happen.  The start to some of the best service around.  They were out of the wine I wanted but I was happy with the substitute.  I had a Chicken Riggies pasta dish that was yummy!  It is a strange combination of people drinking beer and having a fun summer party and those sitting down and dining.  Other than that, would recommend it to anyone looking for better-than-average pub food and fantastic service.

I have avoided writing about Bulls Run because someone I knew worked there and out of respect for her I did not want to bash her employer.  She is gone now (thankfully) and I can write what I want.

This is a pitiful attempt to revitalize an old haunt of mine, Filthy McNastys.  Yup that was the name and filthy Annie was the owner.  The place was so wrong it was right, if that makes any sense.  It was a place where you could drink and eat and listen to great bands and hang out on the canal in downtown Seneca Falls.

Over a year ago a local guy who knows not one thing about running a restaurant teamed up with some dude from out of town and dumped a bunch of money into a half ass remodel.  We gave it our best shot and have had a few meals here and recently had drinks.  It continues to go downhill and with the recent addition of Parker's on Fall Street this place is a sinking ship.  If they were smart they would abandon ship now and give up the bad food and service and just become a bar with bar food.

The service is absolutely god awful, the food sad to say is not any better, what a shame.  Everything is fried and premade Sysco crap.

Worst yet the bar.  Each and every time I have been here there is no one behind the bar.  Really?  Last time we were here we sat and sat and waited for someone, anyone to come pour us a beer!  WTF.

We decided after that said beer it would be our last.  Too bad, so sad.

Hey Bulls Run, i bet your business will not be here this time next year.  Get it together.
