I have been here twice now and the food was excellent both times. Bread is good, house salad is good and shrimp scampi is perfect (not too buttery or garlicky, lots of flavor). My husband loves the veal. Service can be a little hit or miss but the food comes out fast.
Last time I was here, our server made an excellent cocktail recommendation that was not on the menu: the Peacock's tail (gin, St Germaine, mint, etc.). Lovely. My only complaint is the price: we had a $50 groupon and still ended up paying almost $100 for two, including tip (2 drinks each). I'd expect these prices in Boston, but this place is in a shopping center by the railroad tracks. Other than that, it's a great place for a bite! Another plus is that they did not give me an attitude about the groupon.
3 1/2 stars, but I don't round up.
A group of five of us went here for dinner on a weekday. Â This place is pretty pricy, but overall the food is really good. Â Utilizing a Groupon saved us a bunch of money and made this place worth it.
We started with two appetizers, mussels which were good and the calamari which was very average. Â We also got the anti-pasta which quite good. Â Two baskets of warm bread completed the pre-main course. Â We purposefully got five different dishes. Â I got the butternut squash ravioli topped with shrimp which was interesting but a bit non-sequitur. Â Other dishes ordered included a tilapia special, seafood risotto, seafood milano, and the wild mushroom risotto. Â Of these, the seafood milano had the best flavor. Â We all finished our food and even squeezed in a tasty chocolate cannoli that we all shared.
The place was relatively empty, which was a bit of a surprise.
