Cabos has become the place for my Mexican food craving. The food is fantastic and very reasonable, you can stuff yourself for $10 including drink and tip. What I like best is that there are lots of items that are truly authentic Mexican, not the Americanized-Mexican food that so many restaurants ( *cough* Â Pepe's *cough* ) try to pass off. They do have options for the more American palate though if that's what you prefer. The waitstaff is very friendly and polite and attentive and the outdoor seating option is a nice change too if the weather is cooperative. A great little start up place I really hope they do well
Review Source:Cabos is a legit, authentic Mexican restaurant -- the food here is fantastic; the sope and gordita tortillas are handmade, and all of the food is filling and inexpensive. They're very accommodating, too, and will make your meal however you like it. The hours are really excellent, being open until midnight on weekdays and 3am on weekends! The service was amazing, too, it was prompt and friendly -- he even ran the take-home box I had forgotten in the restaurant out to my car. The atmosphere was cozy and friendly. We went at around 10pm and the food was great.
Don't be afraid to try the beef tongue taco -- it's delicious!
