  Ok what trip to LA. would be complete without a drive through daiquiri?  ON our way from Franklin to New Orleans I spotted this little joint and whipped into the parking lot. Decided to go inside and was glad we did. Pretty small inside but they offered a wide variety of Daiquiris along with a full bar! Only a few people inside and they made us Texans feel welcome. The bartenders boyfriend was frying up some shrimp in a fry daddy for there personal consumption and he was happy to share with us even(pretty good). It was happy hour so we both got a large mixed flavor at a good price. We sampled a few flavors before choosing which was a nice touch. We were content to just sit there and chat with the locals and some of them even bought us a shot :)  Really wished I could have just camped there all afternoon. They had a DJ coming in later from NOLA and there was going to be a big throwdown. The Daiquiris where not overly sweet and they were not overly strong. We really enjoyed them but were still sober enough to drive on to NOLA. If you are ever driving through Boutte make sure you stop in. Friendly people, great drinks, nice atmosphere.  It's a winner in my book
