If you live in Reno and looking for a cool, and inviting watering hole, then look no further! I cannot believe we didn't find this place earlier, we are moving in a few days :(

Walked in and instantly felt like I was in some sort of Irish themed movie. It's small and cozy, warm and inviting. The bartender and server were both friendly and attentive, empty glasses were quickly replaced with glasses of delicious brews.

There was also a group of musicians playing instruments, violins, guitars, flutes...It was quite entertaining, and at one point a woman got up and performed a traditional Celtic dance.

They were out of the Cider on tap when we went. My fiance and I love ciders and we we were both pretty disappointed, but I guess now we have am excuse to go back before we leave!

Some friends, my girlfriend and I stopped in here last night during a midtown collective and we had a blast!

We came in and found a table to sit while our friend got us some drinks. Once the drinks made it to the table, an older gentleman that was working came and ask for our ID's and was VERY nice and funny. He was cheerful and kinda teased us for "trying to act old" (we're all mid 20's). I'm always appreciative when asked for my ID because I feel like the establishment is being a responsible contributor to the local economy.

Shortly after a waitress came and took a drink order and I asked for a red or brown ale and she brought me a Smithwick's Irish Ale. I've never had it before but it was very good! I'll definitely be looking for this more often.

While having the drink I started to take in the vibe of the place. Everywhere you looked there were smiles and friendly faces. Everyone seemed to be having a great time. There was a live band playing called The Clark Brothers. Two guys playing very authentic sounding Irish music. One song I think was a well known folk song because there was an audience participation part where everyone was clapping in unison. The bar (and even the bathroom) was very clean and the decor was relevant to the Irish pub theme.

Overall we all ha a blast and we will be going back, hopefully often.

Best Irish pub in town. I never miss their St Paddys Day Celebration.... although I wish they would always have it on Saturdays and not Sundays for us working folk. Thats my only gripe
