Chantico Mexican Grill

I've been here 3 times, and each time the food has been better than expected. I think it is really delicious, fresh, lots of veggies, etc. The reason I'm not giving it a 5 is because the service has been slow for me each time.
Granted yesterday I was part of a group of 7, but we were the only ones in the restaurant. We were there for lunch and it took over an hour. Our orders were pretty simple also. A few tacos, a couple of orders of nachos, that's about it.
I'll go back, but only if I have extra time to kill.

Paid for convenience and not quality!

I ordered from this place because it was down the street, although the prices really turned me off. I took a chance and I must say WOW, never gonna make that mistake again! I feel that this place is trying hard to be a more upscale place than regular taquerias, but I feel that they need to work on their food quality before presentation. So here's what brought them down:

1. They put my horchata in a bag where it easily spilled and the paper and bag fell apart.

2. The horchata was not horchata. I've had gallons of horchata in my lifetime and something just tastes off about it. I can't put my finger on it...maybe because it tastes more milky than rice water. Idk.

3. Anyone who knows me knows my absolute fav is mexican rice. Epic fail. The race had absolutely no taste to it. It's like they didnt even add salt either. Just terrible.

4. The tortas were made like small burgers. I wouldn't even call these tortas they had ingredients that do not come in traditional tortas and they used a type of bread that absolutely did not help the taste of the "torta"

As a plus my fiance did feel the taco tasted good, but neither of us could finish the "torta" and rice we purchased. It was an expensive test run and we won't be going back. Sorry.
