Real good chicken. Homestyle food for the most part.Blue plate lunches and such. Way over priced for most items. Double cheeseburger and fry $10.18. and it was just o-kay.That's a little to much $$ for a little hole in the wall greasy spoon dinner. Next time I have a cravin for fried chicken or hamburger, I will definitely go elsewhere.
Review Source:Went here for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. Â Service was great and the Fried Chicken was really good! Â If you like yummy, crunchy skin -- they have it! Â A little salt ... and WOW - melts in your mouth! Â I had mashed potatoes and fresh (not canned) green beans with the meal. Â The fried chicken is made-to-order, so it does take about 20-30 min. - but it is worth the wait. Â Personally, I thought the chicken could have used a little bit more spice to enhance the flavor, but all-in-all it was really good fried chicken. Â They have some interesting old-time pictures and local memorabilia on the walls - which I enjoy looking at when I'm in a town that I'm just passing through. Â They do have other items on the menu - salads, burgers, tenderloin, fries ... but of course chicken is their specialty! Â I'll bet their liver & onions would be good too!
