I love Chili's. I love their margaritas. Â Their food aint half bad either. But this Chili's surprised me. Â First, I went to lunch and had eaten by the time I got here at the place next door, On The Border. I like OTB just fine, but I definitely favor the drink repertoire at Chili's. Â But this one is probably the cleanest Chili's with the nicest help I have EVER encountered. Â EVER. Â lol
Basically, we walked in, and I'm guessing this one is a newer one, since it's still very clean and you don't feel like you're walking into a breeding ground of bacteria. Some of the chains have a 2-for-1 drink special, and when we were there for the happy hour time, the bartender was nice enough to indulge us that there were appetizer specials, and the margarita special...it was like a mug with different flavors (lime, strawberry, raspberry, etc). Â We seriously paid like $3.50 for this. The cheapest margarita I can get in Manhattan is that, but it's smaller and .50 cents extra for flavor. Â
Other Chili's establishments need to take note: go to this one to have this be the gold standard. Â Don't you go changin.
As good as it gets for these kinda chains. The old spot was a 1 Â 1/2 star, old dirty and just run down. Not the case here! Clean, new, spacious all u really could want. Typical young kids working there so double checking my order is a regular thing and the take out is for the ones they don't trust actually serving customers so mistakes almost every time but always corrected b4 I leave.
Review Source:I don't know what it is about Chili's that produces such a wide variety of experiences from location to location. I've been to ones that are perfectly fine and ones that are a greasy nightmare. This Chili's falls into the former category.
My four-year-old likes this place mainly because of the giant red pepper on the sign outside the building, so we come here every so often. I mainly stick to the fajitas, ribs or lighter grilled chicken dishes and have not been disappointed yet. Margaritas are good too. The service is mostly HS or college students, but they are always GREAT to our kids.
Location is new (moved a mile or so up the road maybe a year ago) and is very nice and clean. I understand the hesitation and stigma when it comes to Chili's but this particular location is a pleasant surprise. I have no reservations about re-visiting.
I don't know why they have two Mexican restaurants right next to one another. Been here twice though and it was so weird. Ate at the bar. They were out of everything and had to keep turning down drink orders from the other customers. Kahlua? Sorry we're out of that. Bacardi? No, we're out of that. Food just meh. Don't bother.
Review Source:The restaurant is not anything to write home about but the bar is fantastic. As a frequent traveler having staff that goes out of their way to make you feel at home is amazing. The waitresses remembered that I had been there and were fun to joke around with. My friend is also very picky about Bloody Mary's and was incredibly satisfied with the one the bartender made for him.
Review Source:OK, it's a chain. But for what it's worth, it'll do . I've had worse. Got a G. certificate, so I said , might as well . My friend & I went after the gym, I got burger, he got steak..actually wasn't half bad. Came in timely matter, since beef takes bit longer, our dinner was good. But as far as first choice, no..have better places to go..first..before I go there..all in all..pick them 2- or 3 ..if nothing else around.
Review Source:Gosh, there was a time when I loved Chili's chicken crispers but it's been years. Â A group from work stopped in at this Chili's for a quick dinner and let's just say it was a reminder of why I haven't been to one in ages. Â The appetizers were ok but nothing interesting, ribs were lacking meat and the margarita was a bit weak. Add in a less than clean interior, average service and I'm not sure why people eat at chain restaurants like Chili's. Â
There are so many better places and ways to spend your money even if the commercials may be catchy. Â I'm guessing I won't be baby-back, baby-back in a Chili's again for at least another couple of years. Â Underwhelming food and dining experience, end of story...
