  A-ok sums it up well.  The room and hotel were clean and served it's purpose.  It's a $100 a night hotel, nothing amazing.. but not a flee-bag either.  It was everything it needed to be and it had a small continental breakfast.

  Pro: free Wi-Fi (OK speed), breakfast, frig, microwave, friendly staff. Cons: overprice,  27" tube t.v., peeling wall paper, dust everywhere...

  It is an old Holiday Inn with a face lift.  It is nice but noting really special.  They did however cater to every need of my friends on their wedding day.

  The only reason I did not give these guys 5 stars is because it is not the Ritz Carlton.  The room was clean and affordable.  The staff real friendly.  The rate was good, and they accommodated our pup.  The bed was probably the best one we slept in the whole way across the country.  Shower Hot, etc.  We did not eat the included continental breakfast so I cannot comment on that, but we would definitively stay here again, Thanks

  stayed here to take the Coach USA bus to O Hare the following morning during the holidays. The staff was extremely friendly, the room was clean and comfortable with all the expected amenities. Free breakfast, paper, internet, pool and fitness room for a very reasonable price. Decent restaurant (Damon's) at the hotel, and many stores and cheap food joints nearby.

  This is now a Clarion Hotel (and not a Holiday Inn). I only used this hotel as the meeting point for the Coach USA motor-coach/bus to O'Hare airport. (FYI, the bus also services Midway airport.)
  
  My gripe with the Clarion hotel is that it only permits "registered guests" to park in their lot; vice those traveling on the bus, which is scheduled to pick up in the Clarion lot. They should at least consider selling a window sticker for those travelers in need of long term parking.
  
  The restroom and lobby area of the Clarion were nice and clean too!

  Great hotel, great location, great pool (half inside and half outside).  Nearby restaurants, near all main streets, (not near the beach).  Reasonably priced
