You cannot rely on this place to have open lanes...ever. The last four times we have tried to bring our family here we called ahead to see if there were any special events that might fill the lanes. Every time the employees failed to mention that there were "leagues " or huge parties there reserving every lane but two (which were occupied). I use "leagues " loosely, Â because apparently the kids of league bowlers are allowed to use lanes reserved for leagues because they won't open up those lanes to other customers. Because of this persistent issue (all lanes being reserved for one reason or another ) we haven't actually gotten to bowl here in over a year.
Review Source:For some odd reason I'd never been to Classic before a few weeks ago. Â Normally I bowled (if that's what you want to call it) at Suburban. Â I don't really bowl, despite taking it for credit in college, but I've seen the Big Lebowski enough to know that it should have plenty of lanes and cheap booze, and Classic definitely fits the bill. Â Everyone was very friendly and I didn't feel like an outsider. Â The bar has a nice selection and local beer on tap to boot with lots of daily specials.
