Let's face it, you have to really go out of your way to get a one star rating. Â Look at my other reviews and you'll see I am generous is my reviews. Â I work across the street from this restaurant and was looking forward to central american style chicken. Â I've been to el salvador and ecuador so I know what to expect. Â This place does not serve good food, nor is it fresh. Â I love yuka fries, especially the ones made by guapo's in manasas, va. Â Their yuka was stale and I asked them if I could exchange them for fresh ones, and all they did was reheat my same stale yuka. Â That alone deserves two stars dropped. Â The chick is not good either. Â Not even average. Â It's dry and old. Â I was eating during prime time so its not like I came last minute and got left overs....com'on man
Review Source:I would say 3.5 - 3.75 stars. Chicken was moist, a little light on the seasoning but still good - I feel like some places like Guapos have been getting really salty lately and I love salty food. I like the wings here too - if u like amf style bowling alley wings, blue cheese sucks though. Which brings me to my biggest complaint - The yellow sauce is a little runny and a little .... Sour maybe. Whatever it is, something seems off for my taste and I like putting that stuff in the rice and beans and dipping the chicken and yucca in it.
Good local option for a pollo a la brassa fix but wouldn't go out of my way to come here.
