Coho Cafe

Went "Up Nort" for the first time with friends and they had been here before so we stopped for lunch. I had one of the best sandwiches I've ever tasted (and I've been around a while). We ordered at the counter after standing in line for a while and it was worth the wait. I felt the food was made with care and it was of very high quality.  I will go back whenever I am back up there for more of the tasty items on their interesting menu. The service was very pleasant and helpful too.

My husband and I are here on our first night of vacation. It was a Saturday night, and CoHo was very busy. We were lucky to get a seat right away. The server who sat us wanted the drink orders right away so we had to pick quickly. After that time seemed to stand still. On a busy weekend night there was only one server. We waited a long time to place orders and forever for the food. The meals were great, but not worth the wait.

Days later we decided to give them another shot thinking it would be faster on a Tuesday night. Calling in a pizza order, I was immediately placed on hold - for 10 minutes!  I hung up and took my business elsewhere.

Thus place is great for coffee and quick treats and a meal if you are not in a hurry. Would be wonderful if more servers were hired.

Everytime I stop in this place on the way home from Lutsen its PACKED and way under staffed so when I pulled in this past Sunday to check out the line, I was happy to find there wasnt one :) However I ordered a iced mocha and it was probably the worst iced coffee drink Ive ever gotten from a place that specializes in coffee. My advice to you is to keep driving and find another place for coffee on your way back to the cities :)
