Nice.  Small and intimate.  Caught live music one night, which was awesome.  Delicious Italian wines.  Great stemware. The seating at the bar is super comfy, if you can find a position where the lights above aren't glaring in your eyes.  The overhead lighting is harsh, as is the lighting from the kitchen; it chips away at the ambiance.  Would like to see more local wine and wine flights.

Charming space with an excellent location.  The wine that I had was West Coast (Washington) and crisp and delicious - a Sauvignon Blanc.

The only thing I would like to see are (1) flights, and (2) tasting pour sizes for a lower price.  I think this is an excellent feature at a wine bar as it really gets people involved with and passionate about the wine...they can taste a few rather than just have one or two glasses.  Oh, and I'd love more sparkling! Every day deserves a celebration!

I would recommend this wine bar for a date or girls night out.

I really want to love this place, but something's just not working for me.  Pretty expensive wine list and not super local heavy, which is kind of weird to me. It's a funky space inside, but the patio is awesome - it's one of the only places downtown that has direct sunlight in the afternoon. I could really see splitting a bottle with some friends on that patio. The service took forever and was not great, the server kept serving other people before us and took a long time to get our order. Then, I put two 20's in the glass with the check (for a $28 bill) and she actually asked me if I wanted change. Um..yes? Overall, I'll be back to try the patio & some of the lunch fare and see if things have improved.

Stopped by before heading back to SF, was pulled in by the fact they have a cute little outdoor table seating area.  Weather being perfect we ordered a lovely lunch and had a great chat with the two gentlemen behind the bar. We got the lowdown on the place and the interior tables and other furnishings.  The food was prepared as we ordered it, made from scratch and it was worth it! The Fruity chicken curry was more than the bomb, except I forgot to tell them I have a big allergy to almonds. My man was more than happy to finish his sandwich and my plate. They were more than apologetic though the fault was completely mine. The balance of fruit and just the right amount of curry made me so want to eat it and deal with an allergic reaction.  I will definitely be heading back to this little gem in the downtown when I hit Petaluma again soon. I've already told a dozen people to head there if they are ever in the area. I want to head there for a weekend night to hear some music and enjoy another lovely glass of wine.

Stopped by on a Friday night to have a glass of wine.  A couple of people were hanging out.  There was no music playing and the one waitress seemed a little flustered.  The wine was decent, but definitely a little pricey.  I will give it another shot, but certainly not in a rush to go back.

Stopped by the new wine place in Petaluma. They have a very nice selection of wine, and tasty appetizers. The woman pouring the wine was absolutely delightful and very fun to chat with. The only recommendation I would make is to have a few more comfortable chairs. Most tables are for 2 people only and while the benches are comfortable, the chairs for the 2nd person aren't conducive for chatting and visiting with friends. I think they need to try for a bit more of a "homey" feeling.
But that being said, Corkscrew has a lot of potential and I look forward to returning.

New wine bar in town. Fantastic service. We were extremely surprised by their menu. They serve light fare (appetizers & desserts) to go along with their vast selection of wine. Wine on tap, beer on tap. Romantic, cozy atmosphere to enjoy a lovely glass of wine in the evening. We stopped by while waiting for our table at Central Market Restaurant. It was PERFECT.

Very fairly priced. And it was nice to also see a business that supports local talent when live performances are happening.

Highly Recommend. We will definitely be back to enjoy some more wine and time out in downtown. I could totally see this place getting PACKED especially when spring time/summer time in downtown Petaluma hits.

Thank you for an enjoyable experience.
