Corner Pocket at Wave Sports Pub

Lots of pool tables. The bill seemed a little steep after 4 hours of play, but maybe I've just been spoiled by the "$5/person/all night" rates of other local spots.

Three starts for the pool hall portion of The Wave. The area is HUGE with lots of tables and basically never a wait. The TVs are old and small and terrible so don't think you can play pool and catch a game at the same time. The bar service is inconsistent from the waitresses, but sometimes you get lucky and end up with someone attentive.

This place gets two stars for the karaoke, which is fun. That's it. The drinks are lousier than fleas, they only put about half a shot into a glass full of ice and fill the rest up with soda. I actually had to ask the bartender if there was alcohol in it. So unless there's a mighty round of pre-gaming in order for the night, I'd stick to beer when arriving at The Wave.

However, I like that there are booths that are usually open to sit in and that you don't have to go into Boston. It's a fun place to go if you're looking to hang with the peeps for a few drinks (beer only). And who doesn't love karaoke?

The drinks though, yikes!
