Dairy Queen-Alto

When you find yourself starving on a road trip from Nacogdoches this was one of the first fast food places we happened upon.  I didn't think there was a drive-thru (there is) so we went inside.  The inside is old and bare.  Felt like time forgot about it.

It's been a million years since I've eaten at a DQ, so I ordered a junior burger with fries and a blizzard.  The blizzard wasn't as good as I remember them being, but I still ate the entire thing.  I have to say that the burger and fries are the best fast food burger and fries that I have had in a very long time.  It might be because it was made fresh since we were the only ones in the place.  I don't know, but I actually wanted to go back and thank the cook.  Also the girl working brought our food out to us.  That was a nice touch!

My cousin is off to SFA next year so this might become a stop for us when we visit.  : )

I wanted something quick to take on my trip to Houston, and quickly changed my mind once I entered the building, it had a soured smell inside and paper/food on the floors and the tables were filthy.

I think they had more flies inside than outside. Something I won't overlook is   nasty or dirty places.
I had a very bad experience today and will most likely not be going back.
