Dans Clinton Tavern

GREAT burger selection.  It was hard to pick one but I ended up getting the sriracha burger which was HOT and delicious.

Service was very good and it was a very busy Friday night.  Packed.

This is just a nice local bar with great food.

Cons:  When it's packed the kitchen can get slow.  
I asked for a bourbon neat and was then asked, "so just like a shot, right?"
I went with that and said yes.  Was served a bourbon on the rocks with a twist of lemon.  I didn't care - but may give you an idea ...

Kara makes excellent spicy bloody mary's. Service and atmosphere are awesome. Would have been 5 stars, but were out of Guinness. An absolute party foul!!

I find myself visiting here more and more. The pizza is great as are the burgers.

I am not sure about the other reviewers problems. Maybe someone barred for bad behavior. You see this quite often.  Possibly, 20 something power drinker who  gets thrown out for being a dick.  

 I have never experienced or witnessed any of the things he states except occasional children in the bar with their parents.

My food, drink, and service experience has been above par for five years.

As far as a price point... Some beer selections like exotics are pricey. Bud and Miller are well priced, and when Heineken goes on sale...its a steal.

I would suggest if you are 20 something and cannot afford a $6 import beer, there are other places nearby that cater to  your price range.  

If you want to gauge a negative review, then look at their other reviews (if any) and look for fairness.

This place does more biz than the others nearby... for a reason.  

I like the food, drinks, service, people, location, atmosphere.  Its cozy.
