We had a fantastic lunch! The food was delicious and the service was excellent =)

Very disappointing. We were told a 30 minute wait. Instead it became 45 minutes. Found out they accidentally crossed off our and sat the next 7 customers most of which had parties the same size. No excuse for this and as a regular and loyal customer, I am insulted.

The rating is for food. The place is not fresh. My salad was bottom of the barrel. I had blackened chicken pasta with Caesar salad.  There is nothing "blackened" about the chicken. Actually it looks like the frozen chicken strips available at retail stores.

Our server Scott worked hard and was very attentive with lots of personality. The big down side of the service was that the meals were delivered too soon  after the  salads.  Personality or not, managing the food delivery is huge!  Service would get 3 stars.

We have been going to Dawson's Too since not long after it opened. I know that in the early days, they did have some staffing issues. Having spent a significant amount of money there over the last year, frequently eating there three times per week, I can say that the experience is wonderful.

It's obvious that the owners, and the staff they have hired, truly appreciate and value their customers. My partner is vegan and they are very accommodating to his dietary needs, even modifying existing menu items to ensure he has an enjoyable dining experience.

Donna is our FAVORITE server and is an absolute joy to dine with. She is very attentive to our every need and we feel comfortable enough to exchange jokes as well as pleasantries with her. We almost always try to ensure we get seated in her section. She's practically become our personal server!

Additionally, the manager recognizes those who frequent this restaurant and always makes sure to check in and see how everything is going. Roberta, the normal hostess, is a treasure. She is always incredibly friendly and it is always great to see her smiling face when you walk in the door.

I know that some folks have had issues with the restaurant, but I assure you that they are constantly working to improve staff, the menu and even the decor. While I don't particularly agree with some of the recent decor decisions, at the end of the day the service and the food are what matters.

I highly recommend any of their amazing pizzas, burgers and especially the breaded tenderloin (which is getting to be a hard commodity to come by even in Indiana). In addition, the biscuits and gravy on the Sunday brunch menu are by far the best biscuits and gravy I've had from a restaurant. Ever.

My only complaint, during certain sporting events, is the noise level in the bar and the center dining room. It does get incredibly loud in the restaurant; however, they are typically accommodating, if possible, to our request to sit in the banquet dining room where it is always much quieter. They are aware of the issue and have tried as best as they can to minimize the affect; however, I don't really blame them. There isn't much else they can do. Sometimes it's nice to know that many people are having fun there and they are a destination for sporting events, which I am sure makes them good money.

I think this is probably one of the best restaurants in Brownsburg and Donna is definitely the best server in town. Check out Wednesday half price martini night, you won't be disappointed.

I was invited to dinner here by some friends. The waitress was extremely attentive and friendly. I ordered the filet mignon which was $20.99 medium well. It came back rare... so I asked for it well done and they came back.... with it rare AGAIN. So they give me my steak and its burned sooo badly it is barely edible. Pretty sure that was the cooks way of getting revenge? By the time I got my "dinner" everyone else was finished. They only took $10.50 off of my meal. I really wish I could of taken that $$ and gone to Benihana!

An unexpected pleasure on a rainy Monday night.  Wasn't in the mood but was convinced to go. She knows better. Was glad I did. Nice vibe in the bar. One warning. If it is cold outside the tables near the front windows are cold - ask for a booth or a table away from the windows. Food has always been good here. This time I had the special - a small filet. It was prepared just as I asked and was very tasty. My wife had one of then several fish options on the menu and she gave it the thumbs up. Prices are  not cheap but decent considering the quality of the food.  One of the better places in Brownsburg.

This is probably going to be our new date night hang out.  The restaurant and bar are very nicely decorated, and in our two experiences here so far the staff has been very friendly and courteous.  The bar has plenty of seating, and the bar staff was very attentive to my wife and I.

I enjoyed the prime rib special last time we were there.  It was $19.99 for a 12 ounce (I think) steak, but the I was most pleased with the salad that came with the meal.  It was very hearty, complete with bacon and everything else that makes a salad unhealthy.  Prior to this visit, I had a lunch salad and it was equally as good - albeit I opted for a a healthier choice that came with berries, vinaigrette and some fantastic honey and goodness coated nuts.

I definitely recommend Dawsons if you are ever on the West side.

Probably the longest bar I've seen at any pub/restaurant. Nice selection of craft beer on tap including Sun King Brewing. I had the Spinach Salad and Four Cheese Pizza. Highly impressed with the quality and taste but make sure you order without the bacon if your a vegetarian. I'll be back in the near future sipping on a Sun King Wee Mac at the bar.

Not great, not terrible.  A little overpriced for the food quality.  Had the crab cakes, would not recommend as they were quite bland.  I will go once more to see if something else is better.  Great decor and very nice bar, would be a nice place to grab a drink.

Waited about 15 minutes to be seated at 7:00 on Saturday night.  The bar and dining room are nicely decorated, unfortunately we were seated in the banquet room which isn't such a nice atmosphere.

Service was good, and Dawson's Signature soup was amazing.  It is super cheesy french onion soup with mushrooms for a unique flair.

The strip steak was chewy and lower quality than I would have expected for the price, $18.  It was cooked well and the side of mashed potatoes were yummy.  Andy enjoyed his dish, a daily special of creole pasta with seafood in a spicy red sauce.  Fellow diners had the huge fried shrimp with fries and the smoked pork chops.  The chops did not get a raving review from my friends.

The bananas foster dessert was tasty.  They have a few beers from Sun King, so I enjoyed a Wee Mac with my steak.

I will return for the soup and ask to sit in the bar or main dining room.

Waited for over an hour to be seated. When we asked how much long they said they couldn't find us when our turn came up  - interesting. Ordered our food and waited over 45 min. When we spoke with the manager he was agressive and confrontational and put blame on others, rather than just apololigizing and asking how he could make it right. Once we got our food we were approached again by the same manager in an agressive manner and did not even have an opportunity to try our food before being confronted. Finally the owner approached us and appoligized but too little too late. Will not go back. Side note the tilapia was mushy and the mahi mahi was without flavor.

Good decor and product. Nice selection of different entrees.

Hostess staff seemed somewhat lost, but they were friendly. Good service. Food was ok. Tilapia was kind of "mushy" and shrimp would be better if it was grilled.

Being there at 6pm on a Saturday you would think you would see some type of manager working the floor. Didn't see one the entire time I was there. Kinda odd.

The service was bad. Our original server must have forgotten about us because another server came to refill drinks. I didn't see one server with a smile on their face. Our server seemed like he didn't want to be there. This wasn't a rush time either. The food was ok. The ribs were more bone than they were actual meat. The burger was really greasy. Everything was just very blah. It kind of grossed me out that the servers didn't change the table cloths, they just flipped them over. The food was a bit overpriced too. This was my first and last visit.

Like a chip off the old block, similar to Dawson's on Main (in Speedway, IN).  Nice decor, great menu, and a relaxed, up-scale atmosphere.

Variety of steak, seafood, and pasta entrees on the menu with a flair.  Friendly staff and banquet room for larger parties.  Dinner entrees start at $10.  Also features a full bar separated from family dining.  A good option of lighter fair on the menu as well.  Kid friendly environment.

Pay a visit and you won't regret it.
