This is a great little deli. Some friends and I were in town to do some hiking and biking and stopped by the Depot Deli to get water and snacks. When I walked in, I noticed that the entire store smelled really good -- and the owner told us about the Sin-a-Bomb bread. I decided to buy some (still warm) and we put it in our backpack to eat later. Once we finally dug into that bread... it was all over. We started plotting for when we could go back to the deli to get some more.
We bought four loaves the next day. It's AMAZING: Gooey, sweet, delicious. If you're in the area you absolutely have to go to the Depot Deli and get a few Sin-a-Bombs.
This is quite possibly the best deli the world! They literally have EVERYTHING a camper could want or need, and located in a super convenient location!
We made about 4 trips in here in one day (don't judge!). "Let's buy more water! Oh, now we need some firewood! Oh, let's get some ice cream now!" We just kept looking for excuses to go back. More addictive than a Wal-Mart in a one-stoplight town.
Definitely check out the fresh-baked items, particularly the Sin-a-Bomb Pull Apart bread! I'm embarrassed to say that two people ate two loaves in two days! Oops!

I came here with my friends looking for some fresh bread, the kind of baked deliciousness that you can find around this area where everything is natural and exquisite. At first we were not surprised by their offering; regular commercial labels in the shelves. But they insisted that we tried their homemade cinnamon bread, which at that point was not in our shopping list. We saw one over the counter and touched it just like curious shoppers and...voilà , magic happened on us!
From that moment on, we felt something like a huge attraction to that piece of bread and carried it out. Once we got on the car, we had each a slice of that bread and our lives were transformed forever. We had one orgasm after the other with every bite, and we couldn't believe what we were eating was sooooooooo good.
It's warm, sticky, chewy, sweet, indulgent and many more good things. So I say, go to Depot Deli if you're visiting Ancram or Copake and stock yourself with this bread for a few days. Don't buy one, buy as much as you can, because you'll be craving all the time.
SIN-A-BOMB Pull Apart Cinnamon Bread! That is all you need to know. We stopped in to this rustic and adorable country store and were presented with giant loaves of cinnamon bread, hot and gooey from the oven. This is the best cinnamon bread I have ever had. Depot Deli is worth any detour you have to take in order to try it!
Review Source:Just came back from a great camping weekend with friends at copake falls.  Stopped at Depot Deli, which is conveniently right across the street. Great place to pick up snack items and a quick and inexpensive lunch. But the real hidden gem of this place, aside from the wonderfully hospitable employees, is the delicious cinnamon pull apart bread. It was  sitting in a case with a note in front of it "this is what God eats for breakfast."  Naturally this peaked my interest. So I purchased a whole loaf ($5) to see if this stuff is as good as advertised.  I was not disappointed. This bread is incredibly soft, moist and delicious. I could've easily had several loaves in one sitting. Shared it with my friends and we were all raving about it. Amazing. I highly recommend this quaint and friendly place as a stop on any trip to the area.
