Devi  Yoga Center

I was gifted classes to Devi Yoga Center one year ago and my life has never been the same since. The slow-moving Tri Yoga flows and their connection of breath and movement has transformed my mind and body. Although this style of yoga is much slower and formulated than other styles of yoga I have practice, it no doubt gives the body a great awakening and strengthening. I became aware of muscles I never knew I had!
Kashi, a Senior Tri Yoga Teacher and owner of Devi Yoga Center, is a patient, knowledgeable, loving teacher. She welcomes everyone into her studio, whether they are trying yoga for their first time, or have been practicing for decades.  Kashi and all the teachers are always open for questions and personally assist with posture corrections and modifications. Certification to become a Tri Yoga teacher is a long and intensive process, so it is nice to know for certain the teachers are well-educated and trained.

I had taken a yoga class as a college class and pretty much hated it. It wasn't relaxing, I didn't understand what I was doing and felt embarrassed. I barely went because I disliked it so much.
I really wanted to like yoga though. I knew it would be relaxing. I had faith. And I am so glad I did.

And realized what a great price it was and bought it.
Devi Yoga Studio, is a beautiful studio to begin with. The floors are heated, and theres tons of natural light. I go at night mostly and they often light candles in the room making it glow.
I mostly take classes with Kashi who is so amazing. She's calm, sweet and helpful. The poises are never overwhelming. Even if they are Kashi has an endless list of ways to make it easier on your body. They also have a wall full of props which can help any type of person. They over several different types of yoga classes here from gentle yoga to yoga for children! And because the instructors are so willing to help anyone there's no reason to not find a class that fits perfect for you.
I love coming here so much. It's such a wonderful experience each time and clears my mind. I recommend buying the Groupon though so you know exactly what I mean.

When I first discovered TriYoga it felt like coming home, and that is still how it feels coming into Devi Yoga Center - coming home to a place where I feel welcome, held and nurtured to dive deep into the full practice of yoga.  Kashi and all the teachers are warm and welcoming, knowledgeable, and fully dedicated to what they are teaching.  This is a slow, flowing, meditative yoga - yet strengthening at a level much more complete than other systems of yoga/exercise.
