Great atmosphere
Ambiance - 5/5 - Romantic, modern, sleek, wooden, open, central bar, multi levels
Parking - 5/5 - Plenty of meter parking close by.
Service - 5/5 - One bartender ran the place during lunch. He was so friendly, patient, and efficient. Very professional.
Food - 4/5 - Biscuits were really hard. Duck flatbread so was yum. Tender & moist pieces of lean duck with sliced apples and a drizzle of bbq sauce. I hate when flatbreads are overwhelmed with bbq. My lobster roll was delicious. Big chunks of lobster with mayo, celery, and corn. It came in two mini rolls which were perfectly toasted but soft in the inside. Brussel sprouts with prosciutto were ok, a little dry. Bf had the crab cake sandwich. Says it's usually really good but this time was extra extra toasted, like a crouton, was hard to eat. Lobster mac and cheese was excellent though.
Drinks - 4/5 - A dirty martini & an old fashion ran about $20 before tip. Delicious, strong, and beautifully made but a little pricy.
Prices - 4/5 - A little on the pricy side but the experience is worth it. Lunch prices are definitely more reasonable (about $15-$20).
Came here on our recent trip to Chicago with a friend. Â The three of us always end up here when in town. Â Dinner is always excellent, and we all love the little biscuits at the beginning. Â Our waiter Josh took great care of us and made it a relaxing evening after having worked the housewares show.
