Confused how to rate this, because the food deserves 4.5 stars alone.  The prices are high for a dive bar, and since everything is made-to-order, the food takes a long time to cook.  So, I'll meet half-way with 3 stars, "A-OK!"

We arrived Sunday afternoon, the place was empty.  Very dive-bar atmosphere, but lots of TVs around the bar which is cool.  Drinks were good, the bartender, V, was really cool and down to earth.

Food was amazingly delicious for this type of bar, but that explains why the prices are so high.  the SEAFOOD BISQUE is some of the best soup ever, MUST try ($10 cup, bowl was $15-ish?)!  Jumbo lump scallops, loaded with lump crab meat, and jumbo shrimp.  So delicious, add a sprinkle of old bay for some extra flavor!  I also had the open faced roast pork w/ fries & slaw ($13, $15 w/ baked potato).  The gravy on the pork was delicious, the pork was tender and melts in your  mouth.  The full-pound burgers are enormous, split it with a friend, or get the "Jr. burger."  The chicken cheesesteak was also huge, looked yummy.  Sandwiches are $9-$15, and entrees are more like $20-$30 a plate.

Overall, great place for dive bar with great food.  I would recommend slashing prices a bit, and making the portions smaller.  No one needs to eat those huge portion sizes!   Also, don't come in a hurry, food takes forever to cook.

I liked this place, I would definitely go back.

It is a little pricy for just a casual bar. My husband got a sausage sandwich that was huge. He said it was ok/good. Not great but a decent size sandwich. I got the gnocchis which weren't cooked all the way. I had to ask them to take them back. I don't believe they did anything to them they came out still hard. They were able to be eaten but they should've been softer. I had the seafood bisque. It had good taste & the broth had good consistency but there wasn't much in it. They brought a pasta salad sampler to the table in these little mini cups. That pasta wasn't cooked all the way either but the flavoring was good. The garlic bread was really garlicy but good. Overall not a bad meal but it's really dingy inside.....needs to be spruced up. Plus the wait time was a little long for the meal as well as the beer not super cold. So if they just put the finishing touches on this place could be great!!

The seafood bisque is the absolute best in the area. The food here is really really good. The bar area is a little small but its a cool place to go heading back from the shore.

Glad to see everyone else enjoys this place as much as it has received good reviews on yelp.

Locals all over this place. Nice and small, yet its a wide open spot to watch a birds game or just hang out. Good times and GREAT eats!! Seafood bisque is as good as it gets and the hamburgers here are full pounders and served on fresh buns. Lager on tap.

Karaoke is great here. Stop by if you want to try!

I had heard that Devone's had good food so we went to try it out.. We had the shrimp & crab manicotti and the eggplant lasagna, fried chicken breast & broiled pork chop combo.. OMG THAT'S GOOD EATING! Everything was ridiculously good & cooked perfectly.. The portions were huge (I ate my leftovers for 2 days) It took a li'l wait to get our food but it was definitely more than worth the wait.. One of the best meals I've ever had.. Devone's is the real deal!

Great food, pricey, but because of the size  portions, you'll be having leftovers for at least one more meal. I ordered the prime rib and it literally was the size of the meat in the Flintstone's intro.

Food is made to order, so there is a wait but definitely worth it. Puts any chain restaurant to shame.

My parents used to love Devone's many years ago and when mom and I went on a "date night" last week we decided to give them a try again. It's an extremely casual place with some cute Christmas tree decor and a big screen tv.  Food-wise some things were excellent and others not so much but all in all it was a good meal.

The menu has everything from sandwiches to salads to full dinners. We were happy to see they still start you off with a little complimentary cup of firm pasta salad.  Then came a basket of garlic bread and it was so yummy - fresh Amoroso-like rolls sliced in half and broiled with a garlicky oil on top. They brought us more later without us even asking for it.

The salad (included with the dinners) was old-fashioned -  a big bowl of tasteless mostly iceberg lettuce with the usual carrots, cukes etc.   It would have been nice if they offered a homemade house vinaigrette or something as I am not into the bottled dressings served with the salad.

I ordered the gnocchi dinner ($12) which was served in a ginormous bowl. You can choose either hot sausage or a meatball and I went for the meatball which was good - big, moist and tasty.  The red sauce had a nice fresh taste I loved.  The gnocchi itself was not the best gnocchi I ever had though  - it was sort of hard but not in a good, chewy gnocchi way - I would have been much happier with just spaghetti.

Moms broiled crab cake dinner ($24) was delicious - wonderful, pure, shell free, lightly seasoned succulent crab meat - quality ingredients that are simply prepared never fail. You have the option of spaghetti or two veg  and she got a baked potato and green beans in red sauce. The steaming potato was enormous and served with a generous portion of butter and sour cream and the green beans were excellent too - well cooked and fresh.

We didn't get dessert but our neighboring table got the brownie sundae and it was HUGE - piled high with ice cream and whipped cream. Our server was ok as a server but excellent as an entertainer. I'd go with 3.5 if we had half stars here but since we don't I will go with a 4.

    Monday $1 Mugs
    Tuesday $2 Pints
Doesn't matter if your are drinking Stella or Coors Lite. They have 1 flat price for all the draft beers on these 2 days. The food is what it is. Be careful with their pricing policy when order the food. They are very inconsistant. An example is the Library charges around $10 for a Prime Rib Sandwich n Devones charges about $18-$20.

Large portions, good flavor. A bit pricey, especially for the casual atmosphere. Decent service. Dont go if you're in a hurry, cause everything, and I mean everything, is made to order. This could be a 4 star review if the prices were better, the decor was updated, and ticket times were dramatically shortened.

This place serves the best meals I ever had. I have been her several times and each time the food is incredible. I almost never get one meal; I have to order another one to take home with me. My staple is usually the crab bisque soup to start, and then either the crab and shrimp manicotti, or the crab cakes. The manicotti is the best meal I have ever placed in my mouth of. They are two huge crepes stuffed with shrimp and crab. Usually I'll eat only one and what's better is reheating it after I take it home because the crepe absorbes all of the flavor. Amazing. I won't even bother getting crab cakes anywhere else anymore. Bobby Chez are great but honestly these are better. I can't wait to go back in December for my birthday.

Two things to take note, the food is pricey. You wouldn't expect it going into the place but know that you are getting a meal made from scratch, huge portions, and a fantastic meal at that.
Second, service is usually slow. Again, it's made from scratch so it takes some time.

If you're hungry and you want to go casual,  this is the place for you.  Home Style cooking with fresh ingredients.  HUGE portions.  Everybody leaves with a take out bag.  This place is a homey dress down place.  Italian is the Fare of the day and the owner is proud of the freshness and portions.  A nice place to stop to or from the shore.
