I really like this pizza! I am a fan of thin crust pizza, preferring it over deep dish most of the time. I had stopped in to grab a slice while running errands and a really big slice with a can of soda was less than $3.00.

D'Gigio's has a special offer of any one topping 14" pizza for $5.00 which is ridiculous. I called to for delivery and understandably when ordering the $5.00 special there is a two pie minimum. Works for me. I ordered both pizzas with mushrooms, one only half baked so that I could freeze it and finish baking it another time. My request was honored and it was perfect.

The crust is hand made, fresh daily, which is unusual these days as many pizzerias buy their dough already shaped and par baked. Not D'Gigio's! Really hand made, hand tossed. Good pizza sauce, real cheese and FRESH mushrooms. All for $5.00.

Not really a place to dine in. Maybe two tables and some counter seats, but not room for more than 10 to 12 people. Lots of great lunch specials, quick delivery.

Nice people to do business with, good product, great value. I have no complaints. Thank you so much, I am happy to be in the neighborhood.

Sadly this place has gone downhill. The crust used to be greasy and soft but the last 3 times we have tried it, it was overdone and not a lot of flavor. We will give it one more shot but it would be sad to lose D'Gigio's as a favorite. The girls that answer the phone are still so nice though!

Horrible pizza, at least its cheap. It tastes like cardboard and the atmosphere is poor. Overall a decent spot to get a quick cheap slice if you're a kid, but if you're older than 13, step your game up a bit.

Not an expensive mistake, but a mistake nonetheless.

Ordered from GrubHub, and we did not order pizza. Delivery was prompt enough, and the order was right. The delivery driver called instead of ringing the doorbell (which is weird, but for some inexplicable reason, not weird for GrubHub.)

Run-Down of Disappointments:
- Onion Rings. Very small portion, sort of Burger King-esque. Blah.
- Fried Shrimp. Fishy and overcooked. Not rubbery, but close.
- Fries. I appreciate that they take the time to cut them in-house, but they were soggy. Very soggy. And unevenly cooked. Very unevenly.
- Garlic Bread. Good flavor (hard to screw up) but was super chewy instead of crisp.
- Baked Mostaccioli. Adequate, if a bit salty. The portion was also not much for the price... the same amount of $$ at Golden Crust would get me double the pasta.
- Salad. Came with the pasta. A tiny dish of shredded iceburg with two tomato slices, and no dressing.

The cole slaw that came with the shrimp dinner was actually very tasty. Possibly the most solidly delicious thing we had.

The pasta was mine, the shrimp Boyfriend's He had three or four shrimp, we each tried the fries, and the rest got sent to Leftovers Death Row in the fridge. Every so often he'll stick something in a styrofoam container in there that checks in but doesn't check out. Until it smells, and then I toss it in the trash. I have a hunch this will be one of those times.

Would not recommend. Do not want.

Not a bad za. The $3.50 slice and pop combo is hard to beat. I would definitely come back here for a quick lunch. Place itself is kind of a dump. TV is pointed towards the workers and not at the small dining area. Kind of weird.

I drive past D'gigo's Pizza a couple of times a week on my way to work. They offer $5 14" cheese, sausage or pepperoni pizza. They are way tastier than the $5 pizzas that you get at Little Caesars!

The interior of this restaurant is nothing to write home about. Phone orders tend to take time, but the staff is always nice.

It is not the most incredible pizza that I have ever had, but for $5 it's a steal. I do like that their crust has a chewy consistency at the edge. They also offer huge salads for only $3!

Its funny how obvious it is when GRUBHUB employees are writing reviews of these restaurants!!

Anyhow, this place is awful. I order from tons of places and this place was absolute crap. Food came cold, missing sauces, missing toppings, and way late.

Find a different pizza place, these guys suck...

We ordered via GrubHub last night. It was not a very pleasant meal. We ordered taco pizza and when we opened the box, we noticed little chunks of orange yellow cheese. Wait, is that Velveeta? It very well could be. The cheese was NOT completely melted and it looks like someone threw up chunks of cheese on that pizza. There was no flavor to the pizza and I still cannot get over the chunks of cheese! The fried chicken wings was bland and soggy. The fettuccine alfredo was so gross, I took two bites and threw it away. $40 later, we are pretty sure we'll never order from here again.

This place is right around the corner from my house and we used to eat there a lot, and we really loved it. Lately though it seems to have gone down hill. Maybe it's changed hands? All I know is the slices are getting smaller and my phoned-ahead orders take at least twice as long as before and they are rarely completed accurately. I've stopped eating there.

Ive been coming to this place for about 5 years now. I find the place in good taste for cheap too. It used to be even cheaper on the menu items but what can u do, things tend to go up. The pizza is great but I always find myself getting a double cheeseburger, because its what hits the spot. Im not gonna lie the location looks shady but I wouldnt trade it. Its just the spot that I love.

Thanks to http://GrubHub.com, D'Gigio's popped on my radar and I was quickly able to locate a place to give me a pepperoni, sausage, and onion pizza, calamari, and cheese sticks for the right price even though it was a bit farther away. The online ordering was a cinch and the way I prefer to make my food orders and I was given a time of a snippet over one hour.

Lo and behold I didn't hear my doorbell ring and the delivery guy popped up and gave me a call. Just how I like it - extra service to get me the goods! He had the receipt page printed out and I signed it and took my food in. There were plenty of cheese sticks but the calamari was a bit underbreaded for my liking :(. The pizza is great and I saved myself $1.70 by popping a little garlic powder on the pizza. The pie is solid and holds form which is an A in my book! Great delivery speed, excellent value, good food!

I am from NYC and was raised eating some of the best thin crust pizza around. Many Chicago natives do not understand until they visit NYC and try a slice of Sal and Carmines. I was driving and saw D'gigio's out of the corner of my eye. It is basically a Sh*t hole restaurant next to a tattoo parlor. My NYC nose was saying "good pizza awaits". I was not disappointed . The pepperoni slice could hold it's own in NYC! I have searched for 10 years and found my NYC slice (fold-able, thin, tasty, grease dripping)! Too bad it is way west on Belmont. I will be back to get a pie!

I needed to fill my pizza crave at 1 a.m. in the morning so I asked the bf to stop in there. The pizza did not hit the spot! The crust was hard and had no taste, barely any pizza sauce and there were 2 measly pepperonis on top of my so-called jumbo slice. An avid fried chicken eater, he ordered those for himself. They must have had a shortage on spices because that had no flavor either! How the heck do u mess up fried chicken?!!

Awesome delivery! Everything is so cheap and really good. Even though it's a pizza place you can get just about anything...i like the fried chicken! Perhaps some day I will actually eat there.

D'Giggio's does one of the best slices in Chicago. It approaches the awesomeness of a typical NYC slice. The crust has just enough firmness to allow you fold it. And the jumbo slice is indeed jumbo. Amazing.

There is slightly too much cheese as is always the case in Chicago, there is not quite enough sauce but only slightly not enough. The crust is really the most important part of a pizza and it is the thing we almost always get wrong in Chicago. D'Giggio's somehow manages to do it right.

The menu seems pretty huge and everything seems pretty cheap. I hear the chicken is good if you are into that sort of thing.

This is a pretty rustic place. You would not go there on a first date. There is comfortable seating, but comfortable by fast-food standards.

JUMBO SLICE and a pop (with free refills) for $3.50.

The jumbo slice is huge. I got a pepperoni slice, so it was expectedly greasy. However, what I liked about it was that the crust was very crunchy. It's a pet peeve of mine to eat floppy, soggy pizza.

As a pizza-by-the-slice place, it's pretty good. The inside is on the small side, but not too crowded. I think the most impressive part was that they had Nehi Grape Soda LOL. The RC was eh. I love Coke (Pepsi will do, too).

I think they also had rib tips and fries for about $4. Not sure how good they are, but overall, the prices seemed really cheap.

They took my credit card, which helped. Outside you can find meters... around the corner you can find a free parking garage.

I will go again whenever I don't want to wait over 30 minutes at a real pizzeria =)
