Dickey's Barbecue Pit

My parents took me here when I visited them. It's at a golf course, which I think is kind of interesting, but that said it's not super-fancy snooty country club vibe.

Order your food, get a number, and they bring it out to you. If you buy a meal there's whole dill pickles and soft-serve ice cream - if you don't buy a meal they're like a dollar or something. The pickle was pretty good, the outside was crisp, the inside was tender...I wish it was a little colder, but whatever.

The pulled pork basket was awesome, I'm hoping we come back before I leave, because we just don't have pulled pork like that up in Connecticut.
