Ate here today for the first time in quite awhile. Â The buffet is great! Â Lots of choices, a well-stocked salad bar, and lots of good vegetables. Â (I prefer veggies over a lot of meat and there are plenty of great selections here). Â For the meat-eater, the various kinds of BBQ are quite good too (I liked the turkey best, my husband liked the shredded pork). Â Great attentive service, even though it is a buffet, they kept our drinks filled. Â We also liked the desserts, the cobbler was perfect topped off with a little ice cream.
Review Source:My husband and in-laws vouched for Dogwood, but I was very, very skeptical. Â I'm not a huge BBQ fan, and I definitely don't like buffets. Â (I should probably also tell you I've only eaten here during dinner.) Â But, this place is amazing. Â If you grew up in rural Indiana like me, this place serves all those unhealthy foods you probably ate years ago -- fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, pie. Â If it wasn't 2+ hours away, I'd be eating here every weekend.
Review Source:The lunch buffet is awesome! The quality of the food is top notch. The quantity of selections is not great but the quality of the food more than makes up for it. I was stuffed so full, I was unable to try everything. I regret getting so full cause the pies our waitress was tempting us with sounded delicious.
I was in 2 weeks ago and was able to order a pulled pork sandwich to go, It was a good portion. It came on 2 slices of homemade bread with sides of onions & pickles (and whatever else you like to top yours off with). A bag of chips and a large Pepsi for under $5.
