Domino's Pizza

Okay, it's Domino's. We've ordered from Domino's in any number of cities, but this one took the pie for awfulness. Not only did our order show up an hour late (after the place closed and I'd reported it as not delivered), it was also crushed -- a third of the pizza was on the top of the box. The delivery driver was surly and had the temerity to actually look at me as if he should receive a significant tip for taking two hours from ordering to get it to my door in poor condition. Eek! Methinks not.

We'll never even attempt to order from here again. Stick with Pizza Mia if you want pizza in Horseshoe Bay.

It's a little frustrating not having quite the same options for pizza as we did in Austin but we'll take what we can get. We can't get delivery where we are but we're still close enough that I was able to place the order online, leave the house, pick up the pizza, stop at a convenience store for sodas and make it home in less than 30 minutes. That's quicker than it would take for them to deliver.

The food was decent. One pizza was cut crooked, there were a couple of really large pieces and a bunch of tiny pieces (I'm not saying they were too small but some of them would fit in a GI Joe kung fu grip hand). I like that when asking for extra cheese they add plenty of it. The chicken wings had good flavor and plenty of hot sauce but the meat was a little chewy. Best part of the meal, by far, was the cinnamon sticks. Lots and lots of cinnamon and sugar, and all made even better when dipped in the icing. I had to stop at 2 pieces, seriously sweet stuff. I could feel the cavities forming with each bite. Doesn't matter, though. I plan on ordering the cinnamon sticks again. And again.
