I write this as I sit across the street at Anita's...
my husband, baby and I are waiting in the lobby for 10 minutes. waiters and bartender can all see us but nobody comers to seat us. I walk around a lil when a customer asks if I'm looking for a table. I say yes and he comments, someone will pop out eventually. how sad! apparently they let the hostess go early... we walked out and came here. I should thank El Torito for introducing us to a great restaurant with excellent prompt service, tasty food and strong margaritas
We went to taco Tuesday last night for the first time.  I was expecting the street tacos to be part of the happy hour, but they were not.  They do have a soft taco bar with carnitas, chicken, and beef and crumbled cheese, two types of salsa, cilantro/onions, and shredded lettuce for 1.50 a taco.  The meat is good quality.  Drinks are 4 dollars and certain appetizers are 3 dollars off.  The margaritas were not diluted  and actually tasted pretty good.  My favorite restaurant to get a margarita is Chili's (presidente), and these margaritas were pretty comparable.  The kids pizza was a hit for my picky 4 year old.  I tasted it myself and it was delicious!  The service was great.  Our waitress constantly came to clear the table off and offer refills and see if we needed anything else. This place is a bit pricey for mexican food, which is why I give it 3 stars instead of 4.
