Elbow Room Bar

Fun little dive bar, large drinks, good service.  Dive-bar, what else can I say??  Ummm...cool stickers on the back wall.

This is Stevens Point's eternal freak bar.  If you're weird, a hippy, a metalhead, overeducated, undereducated, just kinda arty, an alcoholic, elderly, an ex-drug-dealer, or you're the town clown, you'll be welcomed here with open arms.

Everyone's nice, the jukebox is decent, and the bartenders are sweet.

It ain't stylish, but the Elbow Room has been keepin' it real as long as I've been alive.  It's the meeting point.  It's where the peeps go.  It's where I am when I'm home.  It's the only decent bar in Stevens Point.

Which is saying something.

I am honored to be the first to post for the Elbow Room.

Of all the bars in Stevens Point, the Elbow is by far my favorite. It has shuffle board, darts, FOOS and patrons who are for lack of a better word: cool.

Foosball legends play here on a nightly basis and the inscription "No Fancy Drinks" is posted around the bar which means there are no martinis served. The beers are great: Both the cheap variety and dank style brews.

Truly a great bar, even in the middle of the day.

Oh yeah, and it has the best tunes in point, without a doubt. Open mic jams, juke box heroes and the occasional free style rapper.
