The reason I can't give you five stars is the service we experienced.  We were given the little hand buzzer when we arrived.  We waited patiently and the greeter buzzed another couple to go in who arrived after we did. I approached her and asked why this couple went in before us. She said they just made a mistake, but she had done the same thing with another group who was waiting. She made no attempt to rectify the situation.  So we approached the Manager who was very nice apologized and said she would take care of the situation.  She got us a seat right away and agreed to take care of our meal.  The Manager saved the day.  The food here is excellent (4 stars) and we will come back and I hope the service we got is not typical.

"Outstanding food"
We had calabash chicken tenders ( seasoned and marinated in buttermilk for 24 hrs) which melted in your mouth. It came with soup or salad ( salad had bacon and cheese), and a choice if 1 side. We paid extra and had sweet potato fries and cheese grits. Bread is similar to beignets and served with cinnamon butter. Pork chops were skinny and nothing exceptional. But all in all, you cannot beat this place for a delicious meal at reasonable prices.

Best place to eat in the area. Food and service are excellent. Get the fish sandwich.
