The Fez Hookah Lounge & Bar

My Friend really wanted to go to a Hookah Lounge for his birthday and we heard about the Fez.  When we showed up we were so disappointed.  The place was filthy, there are white patches all over the colored walls where there had been holes knocked into them in the past.  Some customers that looked too young to be out that late were apparently smoking pot out the back door in the parking garage.  The bathroom was so nasty with writing all over the walls.  The guy working was an older guy with braces and he kept trying to pick up on my friend.  She was totally creeped out.  We waited for about 15 minutes for the rest of the group to show up, then we left.  I didn't feel comfortable there.  If the place was that filthy, how dirty must the hookahs and hoses be?   We quickly learned there are other hookah options in Fayetteville. Thank goodness!   Do your research before your night out.  Aviod the Fez.

Good things:

a) Music
b) Kind server
c) A lot of potential to improve ambiance by working on decorations & so on

Bad things:

a) Bathroom was nasty
b) The pool table didn't have an 8 ball & instead it came with an extra 5 ball
c) The hookah didn't smoke all too well, although this was mitigated by the dude who worked with us constantly to help us get the smoke going (i own hookahs, i know when it smokes well n when it doesnt)
d) The card machine didn't print my receipt, so I left kinda nervous because I couldn't really know at that point if the transaction was made to the amount the server said. (this may be a temporary problem)

To sum up, if I knew their hookah smoked better, I'd go there often. But as of now, it seems to be a meh place that I'd go only either if my friends insisted on it or if there was a party.
