Used to love coming here to play pool when it was the Irish pub. Although this place has been Fieldhouse for a couple years, I've never made my way back. I think the owners did a great job remodeling and it looks a lot more welcoming than it did before. Keep in mind that this used to be the Aurelio's many moons ago and it's a far cry from the boring pizza shop that it once was.
There's lots of TV's on the back wall behind the bar and the bartender was nice when someone requested to change the channel to a different game.
The food was pretty good however I wish I would have ordered the stuffed burger instead of the stuffed potatoes. I got a nibble off my husband's stuffed blue cheese burger and it was far superior, even though the potatoes weren't bad. My latest addiction is fried pickles and theirs were excellent. They only had the standard beers and no real craft beer selection. This is something that I would like to see improved as I prefer to eat and drink local and support the little guys.
I experienced several problems with this place but the biggest being if it were just advertised as a bar I would probably give it 4 or 5 stars. Here's the issue...it's not. It's advertised as a "family friendly" place where you can get a good dinner, or watch a game and have a beer...somewhat along the line of a Buffalo Wild Wings. HOWEVER, I highly (and I repeat, highly) suggest skipping this place if you have kids. There's no real divider between bar and restaurant and the people that are there for the bar are there to DRINK. It ends up being a situation (well at least when I was there) of drunken karaoke singing adults within arms reach of an infant...not just strange, downright wrong. It has your typical bar activities; bags, karaoke, games, big (loud) tv's, loud music...but I don't get where the "family" comes in, other than you don't have to be 21 to get in (this makes me wonder if it's due to some kind of city code and the fact that it's directly next door to a Kindercare).
If you're out to have a good time with your 21+ crowd and 1. can control yourself around today's youth for the people that take their children there and 2. don't mind drinking around children then this is a good place for you to go to.
Oh, and the food is also exactly what I expect to find at a place that is mainly selling booze. Tastes amazing if you've had a few but like total frozen, fried garbage if not.
I give it 2 stars because it's a decent BAR, nothing else.
First off, this place is actually a really nice bar. The inside is clean, updated, and has plenty of seating. They also have an outdoor patio with bags and  lots of table and chairs. They have the BEST long island ice teas I've ever had. They come in a huge mason jar...and they are just...just great. I don't even like long islands, and I like these. Worth the money.
My only complaints is that they need to have some music outside. We were sitting in the quiet for a while, and it was awkward. Also, I would say wait until later on to go when there are more people. Otherwise the place is kinda boring. I have not tried their food, but I hear that's pretty good as well!
