Tried this place a couple of weeks ago - just opened and didn't even have a full beer selection, but they had enough!!

My friends both raved about their meals - I had the huevos rancheros, pretty good. I was a bit surprised by the ground beef, but it worked.

The salsa was great. The service was outstanding - will definitely hit this place again.

Good Eggs Benedict. Wife had the Chorizo breakfast burrito, said it was a little bland. Good Bloody Mary's, but a bit pricey considered you can walk across the street and get basically the same thing for $5. Would go back again though.

We went there on the 4th for some light lunch on the patio. I ordered a clam chowder which was listed on the board as "soup of the day", and
was told the did not have it. We ended up ordering the Tri Tip sandwich and the chicken salad sandwich, which both came with fries and looked very plain on the plate. We came away unimpressed and probably could have done better at another one of the plentiful selection of restaurants.

    Disappointed...

This place replaced the Rising Loafer which was a favorite for lunch.  Rising loafer had yummy home made bread, nicely filled sandwiches, and great salads - a good combo for lunch.  Granted the interior décor was pathetic, but sitting on the patio made that not so much of a problem.

Anyway, I took a co-worker to lunch today and was surprised to see the change to the Firehouse Grille.  We decided to try it and it was a big let down.  No home made bread.  My sandwich had a nasty stale roll, and they should have called it a lettuce and tomato sandwich instead of a turkey sandwich cuz the turkey was mostly MIA.  My colleague's soup was probably made by Progresso.

They are in the middle of remodeling and are really pushing the fact that there will be a bar with 12 beers on tap.  I am sure they will do well as a bar because beer is more profitable than bread and best of all you don't have to cook it so they can't screw it up.  This may be a once or twice a year after work happy hour place instead of a once or twice a month lunch place.

Fantastic breakfast!  The food was so good, I couldn't stop eating!  The service was enthusiastic and cheerful.  We've been looking for a great breakfast place ever since the Alamo Courtyard closed a few years ago.  I think we've finally found it!  Thank you for a wonderful Father's Day breakfast.  We will be back.

    Fantastic breakfast!!!

This is our new favorite breakfast place in Danville!!

The Eggs Benedict is awesome, and so are the omelettes!

The new owners have breathed new life into this restaurant - can't wait to see it after the remodel!

    Keep up the great work!!!

Went in for breakfast and had a great huevos rancheros and my son ordered the chorizo burrito which looked wonderful and per his report was delicious. An always full cup of great coffee also made the morning. I will be back. Thanks Anderson's.
